I wouldn't call Hunter's sounds chirps, but they are hardly big meows, either. He does seem to have a good amount of the personally traits, though he doesn't really hang around the people so much. I think a lot of that has to do with Heidi, who desperately want to be his best friend, so she chases and barks at him in her enthusiasm. He has no problem with Rosie, who gives him a sniff and goes on her way.
Of course, I can just stick with Long Haired Red Tabby, but Maine Coin sounds so much cooler
eta: I know what you mean about the papers, but what good would they do me? They are fine if you show your pet, or paid big money for a certain breed, but my pets are rescues, all neutered or spayed, so I'm just having fun figuring out their ancestry .
