OMG Eddie is so flippin cute! The SO has a thing for black cats, 3 of ours are black. They just don't have the same cuteness on camera as the others.

My friend's cat, giving him a subtle message:

Corona before I posed him with the TV remote control. He really does just sit around like this:

When I was a teen I had a cat that would sit like that. Cracked me up every time. He also used to sleep on is back, spread eagle, under stuff. His favorite spot was under the door mat. One time someone came over while he was under the mat and accidently knocked a trash can on top of him, and he couldn't be bothered to move. They started freaking out "OMG I think I killed your cat!" Nope, he was just THAT lazy.

I don't have very many good pictures of him. He was my favorite cat EVER and I only have 4 pictures of him.

Doncha wanna just scratch that belly?

He made paper training puppies very difficult. He was convinced something was under the paper.

I have never known a cat so mellow that it refused to move even when something fell on it.

Why are these creatures avoiding me?

Depends on the cat. some cats nap time is VERY important. He was a british shorthair, they tend to be more mellow. This page has a good description of their personality.

Aillidh sleeps with it all hanging out. Him this morning waiting for a sunbeam:

And when I got him 8 years ago. Sickly and filthy from the humane society. He came home with me because he was such a lover even to a stranger.

The SO says Aillidh probably lays them on his pillow when he's not at home.

I love kittehs in boxes

Eris, AKA Miss Kitty, loves clean laundry. She was laying on kids clothes and I needed to add another clean load to the pile. I threw them on her and did she move? No, she continued sleeping in the clean pile.

Apparently her daughter, Calliope, also loves clean clothes

The princess is not happy to be woken up by the flash

Luke and Eris were caught cuddling yesterday
