Yeah if you don't clean the ferret cage or wash them often (i usually do both at the same time, usually once a week, maybe week & a half) they will start to smell kinda musky. But if u clean them they're fine. My ferret actually almost always smell like babies. I use this spray for ferret on him usually daily or every other day.

They don't really mind baths. I would use this liquid stuff called 'ferretone' which is a supplement that they went ape sh1t over. I would lure them in with this.

They loved after bath time the most bc we would play the towel game. I would a towel by the corner, holding it close to the floor and letting the rest sweep out like the train of a dress, and I'd walk around backwards pulling the towel in a sweeping motion. They think it's a ride and the'll jump on and ride it around the kitchen. Sometimes one would roll off and then they'd run back and jump on again, and hold on with their front paws. Oh it's the funniest thing ever.

I adored my little stinkers. I used to take them everywhere w me. They had leashes. They would dig through the leaves at the state park, or through the sand at the beach.

Update on the cute pup I posted a pic of last week--they found a home for her! A lady is giving her as a birthday present to her daughter. So glad! I had thought about that sweet girl all week, but knew I couldn't take her, since my Shih Tzu does not play well with others. The vet decided she is probably a chihuahua/min-pin mix.
