I love dogs with shaved hair! One of my dogs, Bear, was a 200+ pound St.Bernard/Irish setter. Gorgeous hair but way too hot and hard to take care of in the summer. So we would shave him. It made him look absolutely awful. Big giant head. But he thought it was the cat's meow and figured he was one handsome guy. : )
Here's Pita the cat saying "Hey whatcha doin?"

I have no idea why the picture is sideways!!! Tilt your computers

Here's my beautiful boy on Halloween He's a rottie/something mix.. maybe greyhound? He's not very tall, comes to just over my knee at the shoulder and he weighs about 50 lbs. He's fast as all get out, and can outrun me on my bike when I am pedaling at top speed! I haven't had a dog since I was 3 yrs old, and growing up I had cats for about 15 years, so this is a definite change for me, but I love him so much. I don't even mind picking up his poops.
eta: We adopted him from the humane society 9/25 and he's 5 yrs old so I'm still getting to know him and vice versa.

This is Oliver. He is a stray that was hit by a car. His poor leg is shattered and he has a nonhealing wound. Poor cat has such nerve damage he doesn't feel anything and just drags his leg. The leg will be amputated on Dec 10th to give him a chance. The vet said the leg will just keep getting infected. I'm trying to find him a permanent home after his surgery and recovery.
He is such a sweet, loving cat. I think he'll be absolutely beautiful after he fills out and feels better.

Here are Sheba and Zoe. I got them to both look at the camera by holding a piece of pizza in my mouth. They love their pizza!

Here's Hazel, when I first got her four months ago. She's a domestic short hair tabby. I also suspect she's mixed with something else, since she's very talkative. She's a very sweet, affectionate cat-so unlike the stereotype of the aloof cat. I can barely imagine life without her now.

LadyV: Awwww...Hazel looks like my Brady, even down to her white paws and chest!
Here, Brady is showing off his impressive football skills. His name isn't (Tom) Brady for nothing!

Sarah-amazing how two unrelated pets can look so much alike.
I doubt I could get Hazel to be still long enough to get a costume on her, though.
