(The TraceFace Philes: ManGlaze Santorum!). I so WANT it.
Cool color! Looks like rootbeer! I think I could wear that brown! But wow! What a price for a small bottle!

I thought the amazon description was funny:
Product Features

  • Tough, fast-drying, brown matte nail polish
  • The Original Manly Matte Nail Finish - Formulated For Ugliness
  • Big 3 Toxin Free
It looks great with a topcoat too!

As awful as the name and description of that polish is, I love the color!

I gave it a shot. I had no silver strips to put on my nails, so I had to paint the silver lines. I used four shades of purple. From the bottom left, clockwise: Pom Pom, by Cina Glaze; Fowl Play, by Orly; Not Your Mama's Mauve, by Orly; and Lucky Lucky Lavender, by OPI.

Some catching up....

Two Nubar reds. Enchanting Red on the left and Torrid Red in the right.

Enchanting Red is a deep wine red.

Torrid Red is a brownish red.

Torrid with Nubar 2010 on top.

I liked the reds. Very sexy. Made me want to have raunchy sex!

RCC- Those reds are gorgeous. It seems all your Nubars are gorgeous.

I have on Zoya Elodie. I got it in the mail yesterday. I expected it to be a pink coral. It is a super bright neon cherry red/hot pink coral. It is brighter and redder then the picture. If the sun goes super nova, we will hold bottles of Zoya Elodie up to solar panels to make energy. I sorta like it, but I reserve final judgement until July when I have a tan, or what passes for a tan on my pale skin.
My other polish was Zoya Rica (right) as my "red", currently on my toes. Ironically Elodie is way more red when applied. Rica is a very orange coral with a metric ton of gold shimmer. It glows. Very pretty. It leans more pink, but still orange coral in sunlight. It is also better suited for July.

My current polish admiration list. (I'm too cheap to put these on a wish list when you add shipping. ) None of the pics are my nails.

Man Glaze Lesbi-Honest (I won't post a bottle shot, because it won't be everyone's cup of tea) I agree Santorum looks pretty cool. Edit after 3 likes: I didn't know the definition of Santorum when I posted this. It is a bit too vivid of an image for me. I'd have that image in my head all day if I wore it.

I want to paint my nails so bad! UGH!!

They're doing really weird things that they've NEVER done before like peeling and chipping. My entire life I've had super strong nails with no peeling and now all of a sudden strange things are happening and I don't know if it's because I started painting them or what the heck is going on.

That last picture with the gray nails and the pink heart is too freakin' adorable.

I like those ones that Ajidahk posted.

Bretty, how did you do the lines? I like both the blue and the purple.

Today is Nubar Peacock Feathers. It's a multi chrome that shows blue, green, and purple much like a peacock feather.

I applied it last night. In dark lighting, it looked like the color of a blue raspberry Popsicle. In daylight, I get green, navy blue, and purple with more emphasis on the blue and purple.

The green shows up more indoors.

I couldn't get good purple shots. Still pic heavy to try to show variations.
