Thanks, Jeep. I'll try the rest tomorrow. I have housework to do today, lol. I just have to get used to it. I see the fire, but I also see ketchup and mustard mixed together.

The caviar one looks neat. I can't imagine it getting through a workday, but I like how it looks.

I like it but it is a little bit lighter in color than I had hoped it would be, even with two coats.

I like Pure Pearlfection too. With this mani it just muddied the glitter gradient rather then add another dimension. Pure Pearlfection is great over sponge gradients. It helps diffuse the edges of the gradient.

Nice Zoyas. I'm always jealous of people who can wear yellow greens. I love them, but can't wear them.

Love the fire nails RCC.

Ahhh...much better. I changed to China Glaze Concrete Catwalk. It's a very dark grey.

Nada...my nails are plain. LOL

I just got my normal nails back. Not to guano this thread but does anybody have issues with the gel manicures making their natural nails weak and peel?

I've heard there is a difference between Shellac and Gel. The shellac won't do this. Any truth to that?

I'm giving my nails a break. They were peeling something fierce. I cut them all short, buffed out the peels and am letting them breathe for a bit.

I really need to do a pedicure, though. My toe callous is out of control (my right big toe always gets more calloused than the left one...I must walk weird!).

my nails were pretty peely too and vertical lines. i cut them and have been wearing the essie feed me. i was looking for get rich but didn't see it. i'm just trying to hydrate them. i will put color on before my trip next week but i hear you on giving the nails a break. i can also relate to the need for a pedi!! i do a good job of applying color but i need some serious tools to soften these babies, lol.

I have my Ped-Egg, a pumice stone, and this sloughing lotion from Sally's. Between the three (plus some really moisturizing lotion), I can usually get my feet looking decent. It takes a few days, though. I'm too impatient to do all that scraping at once.

Hunger Games Katniss nails.

From L to R. All Nubar
Dark Castle
Lustful Red
Hot Red (it's a very orange neon red)
Hot Yellow.

I used a tutorial from midniteblue716 on YouTube. Mine came out differently, but I still think they're awesome and reminds me of what I thought of when I read about her manicure in the book.

Left hand

Right hand

I was kind of iffy yesterday with the one nail. But, seeing it as a whole manicure, I love it.

this looks red, but it's actually bright pink. both the gold and pink are cheapie forever21 polishes.

I swear, I can never put on nail polish without making a mess.
