I treated myself to the rare professional pedicure for Mother's Day (I do my own normally).

I think these are the colors: OPI Tropical Punch (2 coats) then a coat of OPI And This Little Piggy because we wanted some sparkle. Then topcoat. Loving it so far! It makes my pale feet and legs look a little tanned. LOL

I think I'll use my NYC Pink Promenade Creme 109A for the manicure tomorrow (do it myself though). They will coordinate but not be matchy. Maybe pics when it's done.

I've finished lots of bottles of nail polish. I finished either 2 or 3 bottles of Revlon Kiss Me Coral. Now that my polishes have multiplied like rabbits, I'm sure I'll finish bottles much less often.

Essie in Wicked
What nail polish do you have on at the moment?-fingers2.jpg I never wear dark colors in nail polish but I'm tired of the same old light shimmery ones. There's no room for error but this polish went on really smooth - easy to apply. I wish I could wear some of the bright summery colors like you all but I don't think they'd look good on me. I still plan to buy a chocolate brown - trying to decide which one...

^ That's pretty on you. I think you would look better than you think in some of the bright colors.

^ Aw thanks. It's chipping already. I only have 1 coat but have a base coat. Guess I expected more from an $8 polish.

I could do some of the blue-greens and pinks like the Zoyas I see here but they're a lil much for the office. I love the pinky-orangy reds like Essie Watermelon and Walgreens had a fab Mango shade (SH brand I think). My skin's too golden/warm. I'm rethinking RCC's suggestion - gold. I saw a gorgeous Wet n Wild gold shade with lots of flecks of color. I have to pass on a lot of colors I like because with work, they'll be relegated to my toes.

More of the same color. But, it looks so nice in today's sun that I had to include pics.

Yep, still luv'n RCC's blue.

Mine's still holding up well, and I'm shocked about that. lol I tried to get pic's in the sun but I waited a little too late in the day. I still couldn't get the glitter to read right

(Something has to be done about my cuticles)

Yawn! Now to keep myself up by watching more nail tutorials. It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it.

Oh what is the name of that polish... Hold on. Let me find one of my bottles... They are metallic shades, $8, and quick dry. I got them at Rite Aid and believe I saw the at CVS. L-O-V-E it!! Borghese Rapido. This brand lasts a long time on me. Unfortunately, the last time I was in Rite Aid it had been removed from the shelf.

These are the colors I have:
Lira, Chroma, and Limoncello (my favorite and one I plan to use in soon).

Sorry about the sideways pic. I was too lazy to rotate. Lol. If you ever have metallic in mind (I think they did have some flat colors as well) and spot this... you might want to give it a go. The gold is beautiful on. Its on the thicker side but still easy to work with. I always do 2 coats of it.

*note* everything looks a bit darker than it actually is in this pic.

So on Sunday night my husband caved in and let me order a few of my wish list polishes from Llarowe. I am impressed with how fast it shipped out to me to.they are from left to right: Moonbow by HITS , 2 bottles of Hefesto by HITS, Black by Glitter Gal, and my most wanted polish from the site, Lizard Belly by Glitter Gal. Tuesday, the day my order was shipped out, they lowered the price of the bigger bottles of Glitter Gal from $20 to $17! Too bad I didn't wait a few days to place my order LOL but I am so happy to have them! I will have pictures of the Hefesto sometime tomorrow, My Skylar mani is still in good shape, but Hefesto is a Holographic top coat so I want to test it out over Skylar!

Very pretty, Nallia.

Adorame, that's a nice selection.

I'm afraid to look at too many polishes on line. I'll end up going on a spree for all.

Nallia, your mani reminds me of one I did awhile ago. Yours looks so much better. I was very impatient trying to get the glitter on and gave up quickly.

Love the paisley toes, sariroo!

nallia, sariroo - How are you guys getting the glitter to pile up on the ends without being a giant mound? I love that look but don't know how to do it.

Its a bit thicker at the tips, but I think that can't be helped. I tried to keep it from being too thick by dipping the brush in the glitter polish, wiping it all off on the bottle, and picking the glitter up for inside the neck of the bottle. That way I got less polish on the brush but still got glitter. Then I just tap, tap, tapped a bit. I did the first couple of nails all at once but realized it was easier and neater if I did multiple coats.
