Whatever it is, I'm pretty sure the nail polish companies love you modeling the colors you get.

I'm totally jealous!

After letting my daughter be in a picture last week, she asked to be in another. lol She picked this week's colors for both of us.

Orly Pixy Stix with Essie A Cut Above. The Essie is a chunky pink glitter, though it looks black in the pic from the way the light reflected off it. The light in my house is so bad.

Nallia's double pic reminded me of this pic of my stepdaughter and her daughter. I don't know what brand or color their polish is tho. : )

I decided to put treasure on my ring finger. Still no sun pics but today it'll happen! I just did a touch-up thanks to the shrinkage.

I am so excited I put in my order here Girly Bits — SpectraFlair Medium Grade (20) for spectraflair. I might sell some of my polishes and jewelry this summer at a monthly Art Walk my area does. I have already given some of my polishes away to a few of my friends and family and they are really pushing for me to do this. I can't wait to play scientist with my micas and spectraflair!

Also I am going to be doing my nails in a bit with my Nfu Oh holographic polish that came Friday. I got #'s 61, 64, and 65. ( I just ordered the other 3 in the Holo collection, I think the bottles are so cute!) I will post pictures later on tonight when I can download my camera at home.

So I went with Nfu Oh 64 and oh my is the color just so pretty, this picture was taken in the dining room under low lighting shortly after I painted my nails, please excuse the lack of clean up, I could not find my paint brush I use and did not want to ruin the nail beds by using a q tip.
inside under bright lights

and a few outside in the full sun

isn't the bottle cute!
If anyone is interested this is the site I used to get Nfu Oh Fabuloustreet.com, From Professional Acrylic system to the fabulous nail polishes, Nfu Oh offers superior quality to all. free ground shipping to in United States.

These Laylas look like Nfu Ohs.

That looks like the color I'm wearing right now.

Currently sporting a set of the Sally Hansen strips in "Checker Out," a cheerful green gingham. I had grand plans to add a couple of bright red ladybugs here and there, but haven't had much time for nail stuff lately. I found them on clearance at Target last week, along with some that were pink polka dots, but I don't wear pink so I got two boxes of these.

Not my nails in the pic.

Well, more holo, lol. Layla Hologram Effect in Coral Glam. It's more pink than coral. It's very 'flesh tone' like on my skin since I'm pretty pink as it is.

Okay, so, I hate hate this gel nail polish!

I suppose in some situations it would be good. I've had it on for over a week and there are no chips, no wear down, nothing......but.....my sad natural nails need to recover from acrylics and theyre broken and weak and I cant go through the process of getting this stuff off!

Thats it. It's staying on til it grows out.

that's what i was afraid of with the gel polishes. i'm trying to use more gentle removers so my nails don't get so dry. this would be bad. good luck. i'm using a brush on cuticle oil/nail moisturizer to help my extreme nail dryness. maybe you can use something like that too.

Is gel polish rough on the nails, or is it mostly just difficult to remove?

My nails are just now getting back to being strong after my painting phase last Oct/Nov/Dec. The peeling and weakness seemed like it would never go away, but I guess it just had to grow out. They're super long, but driving me crazy so they're getting the snip snip today! I miss painting them.

I've been trying to oil them often since the acrylics came off. I'm hoping to get into a routine to keep them nice when they finally grow in.

Very difficult to remove.

It's supposed to need straight acetone, which I bought, and even after soaking forever, they still won't budge. My cuticles cant take it, and some have broken down so low I can't do that to them.

Im going to buy some stick ons to cover them til theyre grown out! Lol

Who's been using that DermaNail? I'm curious as to how it's worked.
