This is Zoya Ivanka, but I mostly wanted to document my nail length. They may not look that long, but for my thin, breakable nails, this is the longest they've ever been.

Question

I got my $10 b'day coupon for DSW and had another $5 one, so I went to look for shoes and polish today. I didn't find any shoes in my size that I liked today, but I did come home with Anise Yummy Sorbet, Pink Pong, Sugar High and Fast dry top coat! I paid $3! I didn't really to get the 4th one, they were BOGO1/2, but I figured I needed a new fast dry top and I'd give it a try. I might give Sugar High to my sis as it's a bit mauvy-pink for me.

The question is, which do I try first? Yummy Sorbet, Pink Pong, or one of the Zoya Pinterest trios I got (Zuza, Kimber, Myrta)???

Yummy sorbet -

This weeks mani and pedi

Base coat: orly nail defense
Color: OPI Just spotted the lizard
Top coat: china glaze fast forward top coat
Nicole by OPI fast drying drops

No pics yet...but let me say I LOVE this OPI color! I am seriously thinking about hunting down another bottle to have on hand. This color is part of the limited edition OPI Spiderman collection and is a dupe for a really popular and really expensive Chanel polish "paridot".

This is from months ago when my grandma took me for a mani-pedi for my birthday. I kinda forgot it was in my phone:

It's by a brand named Pixi, but I don't remember the name of the color. Despite how pretty it looks, I wouldn't recommend using Pixi brand nail polish. Despite having a base coat and top coat around it, it started chipping in two days and came off like crazy after that, chipping and peeling all over the place, yet it was oddly resistant to my nail polish remover, to the point that I finally just decided screw it, I'm peeling it all off. (I used a stronger remover on my toes later, and while it didn't come off super easily, it was fine.)

I did love the color while I had it. It lasted much, much longer on my toenails, and after it was gone, I thought my toes looked pale and weird.

Unhappy

I went with the Anise Yummy Sorbet...........and it chipped within 2 days! I'm hoping it just didn't play nice with the OPI Start to Finish base coat I used. I did the OPI base, 2 coats Anise, top coat of Anise Fast Dry. And it chipped and flaked off in 2 days. Now I have naked nails again. I'll try it again with a different base, they didn't have the Anise base at my DSW.

But that Zoya Zuza is calling me, with accent nails of the Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream that I won! So I think that's next.

I've discovered that my two newest bottles of Orly (night owl and ingenue) start peeling a few hours later, no matter what base coat I use. That's incredibly frustrating because they are both absolutely beautiful.
