rcc, I'm so mad at the app right now because I really want to see that picture!!

Essie is slowly becoming my favorite polish.

I've got a few of the Julep polishes now and the first couple of colors I tried went on ok, but the bottle is so tall and slender it's tippy and I'm always terrified I'm going to spill it everywhere. Then the last new color I got was kind of gloppy and I thought maybe it was the base coat so I removed that and started over, but it was gloppy even without it. So I took that off, put on my Essie and it solidified my love for it's smooth application even more.

While the Julep is cute to look at on the shelf, I don't know that I'll be reaching for it again very much because of the bottle design.

Springy, I haven't bought any Julep yet and now I might not. There's really only one color I really wanted anyway (Emilie) but I can find similar colors. I wondered about the formula and skinny little bottles.

I put on Julep Morgan today. I love the color. I get the Julep Maven box each month, but may skip the next month or two only because it piles up so fast along with all my Zoya purchases. I've been doing my nails once a week and still can't seem to get to them all. I haven't had any problem with the formula and have really liked all the colors I have used. JMO!

Maybe Springy got a bad/old bottle? I'd love to hear more reviews.

I'll have to try out my other Julep and compare to see what I think. Maybe I should contact them about it, could just be a bad bottle. I'm still not crazy about the tippy bottle. I can just envision it all over my table. The colors are certainly pretty, so it would be a colorful decoration.

Oooh good to know about the tall bottles. I have to have spilled at least 1/3 of my SH Vit E nail & cuticle oil. Dang thing is so tippy. I've only had it 2 1/2 weeks and it's almost gone for cripes sake!

"Black on Black" by Sinful Colors. I had a combo of yellow ("Let's Meet") and black (with their quick dry), but, all of that maintenance with that near-sheer yellow was killing me.

Though, I have been eyeing their pink ("24/7")...

Did you miss me? Sorry, I haven't posted lately. I've been busy and then my computer died. I apologize in advance. I'll probably be a bit of a thread hog while I catch up on my manicure pics.
The first pic is Sally Hansen, Whirlwind White. I used tape and made the nail half Spoiled Mind Your Own Beeswax (yellow). I used a DIY striping brush to add Essie smooth sailing (blue) to the middle. Meh. This was just not me. I got the idea from this link. In the link it looked reto early 80's and I thought it was cute. Not so much on me. I can't seem to add more pictures, so I will have to start another post.

The first manicure has Revlon colorstay stormy night as a base. Then the dots are made with Wet n Wild Grey's anatomy, Zoya Harley, Zoya Laney, random black polish and Milani Ms. Milani. Next time I'll leave out Grey's anatomy. It gives off a purple cast that I didn't like that well when mixed with the other grays. I really liked this manicure. I can't seem to get more pics added, so I will have to start yet another post. Sorry.

The first pic is a half moon mani done with reinforcement stickers. I didn't do a very clean job, but I really like the color combo. Zoya Laney (silver) and Orly Star of Bombay (navy/black).
The second pic is Zoya Rica. I did like it. But I had expectations before I wore Rica that it would be the best polish ever created in the universe. I only liked it, so I'm irrationally disappointed. I set the bar too high.
The third pic is sally hansen nail stickers (I forget the real name). I found these hard to use. I didn't get the cuticle lined up all that well. I had lots of ripples. My nails curve a lot from side to side and from cuticle to tip. It was hard to apply without ripples. It is like decoupage or wallpapering a curved surface. These aren't for me. I'd rather just paint my nails.
The fourth pic is Zoya Elodie. I like this one. It is between a cream and a jelly finish. I believe this was four coats to get it opaque. Pic 5 is Elodie with Hard Candy Matte-ly in Love. It isn't terrible, but I'm not a fan of Elodie when matte.

O.K. Last two. The first one is of my ugly feet in old flip flops. Don't say I didn't warn you. It is Essie Super Bossa Nova with Sally Hansen Whirlwind White polka dots. These were my first polka dot toes. I think polka dots on toes are really cute. I'll probably do this a lot.

Phew. Last pic. Ombre blue nails. From light to dark, Wet n Wild Bird Bath, L'Oreal Now You Sea Me, Sinful Colors Aquamarine, Revlon Colorstay Midnight, and Orly Star of Bombay. I really like this one too.

The pedicure is very cute, and I used to have those flip-flops! They held up surprisingly well.

L'Oreal's Now You Sea Me looks beautiful on you. I'm thinking about trying that one (venturing into blue is *super* bold for me). The Sinful Colors in Aquamarine also looks striking and engaging.

Has any of you ladies heard of the impress press on manicure? I know some people think press one are tacky but these are actually really great. I'm wearing confidence to go in medium length.

I think they look really natural.

Pedaheh, they are all so cute! Love, love, love the pedicure and the denim stickers are neat. I bet they would be a pain to line up though.

I have Wet n Wild Gray's Anatomy. I love the color, but have not worn it yet. Since joining here I have gone from 10 or 15 bottles of polish to 120. I blame every last one of you.

Today I will be busy searching YouTube videos and blogs. I'm looking for the perfect 4th of July manicure.

Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?

Sew and Sew- Now You Sea Me would be a good polish for venturing into blues. It is blue, but not too blue. ETA: Sinful Colors Aquamarine look great matte.

I bet RCC is to blame for at least one of your new polishes.
I know what you mean though. When I started posting on this thread, I had about 20 polishes. Now I'm probably in the general vicinity of 80 polishes.

Grey's Anatomy is pretty, but sadly not as pretty as it is in the bottle. It is gorgeous in the bottle.

RCC is a polish pusher. Lol. I've been very thankful for my my Rite Aid and CVS reward cash. I'll save it up and put it toward new bottles.

about Grey's. It is incredibly beautiful in the bottle.

These colors don't run. Unless you tip the bottle over. But even then, it's more of a slow oozing.

^ MoppyT, I like that!

I did a quick and glittery french manicure last night using yellow stopper base coat, wet n' wild mega last in I need a refresh-mint on the tip and one very thin layer (each) of Sally Hansen glitter polishes: strobe light, lets's dance, ring a ding, and rock candy. I would share a pic but it won't load.

I've also made a decision about my 4th mani! I'll be working on that tomorrow night, and hopefully be able to load a pic.
