Right now, I have on Zoya Suri (royal purple w/ silver shimmer), but I'll be changing it out tonight for a Halloween mani. It will be black with either red or orange glitter. I haven't decided yet.

I don't think it's as...uh...brown as Santorum. In real life it has a bit more of the black cherry deep red in it than the pic shows.
I got a ton of compliments on it today, even from dudes.

my manicure got all chipped in two days, despite using OPI's ChipSkip under, and Seche Vite over the top ;p back to the drawing board...

Avon Matte in Red Velvet with a topcoat. It made my skin look washed out left matte.
Apologies for the crappy cell phone pic quality.
Indoors:
Outdoors...little ghostly but I like it.
Should add that earlier in the day I topped the color with a silvery glitter...was a little too heavy handed with said glitter and didn't like it but didn't want to remove it either, so the glitter got topped with another layer of the Red Velvet and then the gloss top coat. The lazy route worked out alright.
Really looking forward to using a light hand of gold glitter over this for the holidays. Some flecks of warmth should play off it beautifully.

I really wanted that, but they were sold out.

Yesterday I did a pedicure using Loreal's The Perfect Trench.
It is a pretty mustard type yellow, and I will love it on my fingernails, but on my toes it looks like I have a raging nail fungus. Ewwww. Oh well, it is Halloween. Lol

I changed my mind and went with a candy corn manicure. It's a little messy b/c I didn't have any tape or post-its, but a light coat of orange glitter hides a multitude of sins...LOL

Here's my Halloween chocolate candy corn mani. Zoya Myrta, ManGlaze Santorum, Cheeky nail plate stamp, ManGlaze Hot Mess on pinky. I wanted to do them all matte, but the only matte I have is Hot Mess and that's too sparkly for my candy corn.
The colors are actually closer IRL.

Finger Paints Where Art Renoir?
It's full of tiny glitter and is a really pretty black. The pic doesn't do it justice.

I can not get a pic with my iPhone that does either of these polishes justice so...
I covered the yellow toenail polish with Sally's Luster Shine in Firefly:

And painted finger nails with China Glaze, Avalanche:
I love this color^

I'm learning to use my plates and I've found you really need a good thick, opaque polish for stamping...and practice...and patience! LOL
What are you using?

I'm still practicing with mine but haven't played with them for a few weeks. I was busy with other things. I have yet to wear them on my fingers yet as mine don't always come out that nice. There are lots of tips to search for on the interwebz about using plates. I did find that the Konad stamper was worth the money. I had a cheap one from Amazon that was a total rip off and worked like crap. And polishes that are opaque in one coat are the best to use. I have had good luck with the Sally Hansen InstaDry polishes but you have to work fast.

I bought it in the early summer and kept putting off wearing it. Now I don't know why! It is very pretty, and it went on well. My top coat was a different story.
Murrrcat, I have not tried my stamping plates in awhile. When I first bought it I only had 3 polishes that worked well with it, all metallic. It took several practice attempts to find those. The last time I tried to use it I had done framed nails, allowed them to dry over night, and stamped the next day. The polish I had on was insane, and it squished & ran when I stamped over top of it. I was so frustrated (though it wasn't the stampers fault) and have not tried again. As mentioned, there are many tutorials about it on Youtube.
I will try again, some day.

First pic: Blue Satin by Kleancolor and Santee Perfect Silver.
Second: for this week: Valmy 130 and Avon Art Orange.
Please excuse the ratchetness of my toes.
