You should like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter. That's where they post most of their promotions. They rarely email them out.

I thought I liked them on FB but I'll double check because lord knows I probably forgot. And since I finally created a Twitter account I'll do it there too. Thanks Nyn!

My current manicure is Julep Daphne with an accent nail of Julep Emilie (can you see the stripes?). Emilie really came out very green, I was going to do them all with the accent stripes, but I like Daphne better. I think I'll save Emilie for Christmas time or St Pat's, it's that green.

I don't understand why I can't think to go before I start on my nails.

I did Fingerpaints Bronze Sculpture with the matte topcoat, trying to replicate Santorum, but it's too light. Plus, I think I'd have better luck with a microglitter. I'll have to investigate and see if I can find a dark brown microglitter. Zoya has one that's close, but not quite right.

I am wearing Shoot for the Maroon from OPI. I loooooove the deep purple/garnet tones of it and it is sparkly, too! Yay!

I have a question - does anyone use Seche Vite top coat? I am finding it makes the polish chip faster ;p

11/10: I went about 2 weeks bare after taking this off. I just put on the combo I wanted to test above. 1 coat BS moisturizing base, 2 coats CG Liquid leather, 2 coats CG Lubu Heels, 2 coats OtD.
I will report back when it starts chipping. See my optimism?

And Nailtiques 2 (not plus) is about to be tossed unless someone wants it for free. I'll send it so someone else can try it.

Seche Vite isn't 3-free, so it does tend to make 3-free brands like OPI chip faster. It's a shame because it's sooo shiny!

Nynaeve, thanks for answering! I am new to nail polish, never really bothered with it before...so I am kind of ignorant...can you please explain 3-free to me?
That way, I can get some polishes that go with the Seche Vite - cause I love the glassy finish it gives my nails tx! (and who knew nail products would be as confusing as hair products! lol!)

3 free refers to nail polish that is free form certain substances that are potentially hazardous or harmful over time.

http://www.alllacqueredup.com/2007/0...l#.UJ_2GL-9Kc0

Most modern nail polish is 3 free, with some going 4 or 5 free.

Things that aren't 3 free are more common in nail treatments and things like fast dry topcoats. 3 free and non 3 free sometimes don't play well together, causing more chipping or increased chance of nail staining.

Thank you SO much, RCC you are a veritable font of wisdom From what you have said, I gather I am far better off not using the Seche-Vite ;p Well, that'll make it cheaper to do my manicures! lol!

Avon Art Orange on accent finger with Avon Mosaic Effects on top.

Thanks Jeep! I'm planning to break it out around Christmas. I'm hoping to find a red crackle top coat that will go with it

Curli: I googled and found this. if only I had the skills to do the tie.
