Milani in Dark Coffee with one coat of Kleancolor Madly Matte on top. Accent nails of Wet n Wild in 9021Orange (which is orange in the bottle but looks gold on. A nice shimmer to it tho).

You know those crafts kids do at Thanksgiving when they make a turkey by tracing their hands? I'm going to do a version of that for Thanksgiving.

I made a nail polish by mixing OPI Big Apple Red, Wet n Wild clear, Wet n Wild Black Creme and Pure Ice Busted. You can't see it well in the photos, but there is pink shimmer in it. I was shooting for a blood red jelly, but that didn't happen. I ended up with this instead. I don't have a name yet. Contenders for the name are: Box of Wine, Bordeaux So I Made Polish, and Cranberry Sauce.

Revlon Red. Possibly my most favorite polish. Nails, toes, its the perfect red and it wears well. I wear it often.

I picked up a bottle of the new Cover Girl Outlast nail polish in Forever Festive.
All of the reds in this thread inspired me 
I love this color but only did one coat because it kept getting thicker and thicker.

Not really. I didnt specify 'all' or 'every', or anything to generalize a group.
If I did, however, I think it would be obvious that there would be some that didn't think that way. Being that people are different and all.
But its helpful that we aim towards keeping things clarified.

That makes me think of my boyfriend. He is an old hippie mountain man who lives in a cabin in the woods with no furnace and intermittent plumbing. He has no interest in girly things like makeup or nail polish or purses. But every once in awhile he'll say "Wow I love your nails today!". So amusing to me. Makes me kind of giggle.

I am seriously wearing about 15 different colors right now. 
I've gotten some new colors and was just swatching a bit on my nails to see how they look. Most nails have more than one color, next to or over another. Oh I forgot, there are sparkle top coats too.
I haven't decided on my Thanksgiving manicure yet either. Brown with gold stamping, cranberry red,......?

I'm wearing Essie Head Mistress (and a pair of Jeffrey Campbell booties) to get into the Fall groove today 
p.s. I've noticed that my Essie polishes and ones of other brands that are older bubble up. Head Mistress is brand new. Applied each coat one at a time, let them dry a good while in between (that's a time suck...) in an airconditioned room and still have bubbles.

I spent a good hour watching tons of Thanksgiving nail videos this morning. Such fun! Of course I can't do any of that stuff so I went with my usual dots in Thankgivingy colors. : )

Once again my phone is not taking the best pic's of polish, so again, not my nails.
I am wearing 2 coats of Essie's Skirting the Issue on my finger and toe nails.
After putting one coat of Nicole by OPI's Shoot for the Maroon on as an accent, I decided to put a coat on all of my finger nails. I goes very nicely with the Essie.

Jeepy- I love that brown on you.
The first pic is the polish I made with a matte top coat. I need a new bottle of matte top coat, because this one is almost empty. I'm going to try the NYC one next. Second pic is Wet n Wild Disturbia. I love this polish. It is dark, but still purple in all lights and wears really well on me.
