I am really loving the "press on" nails. I think I have every color and design they make. I really messed up my nails with some acrylics and they are still trying to heal. The press ons are perfect. Right now I am wearing a very deep red.

I'm wearing a very faint sparkley nailpolish that just makes my nails very shiny with an ever-so-slight sparkle if you look at them in the light. I think it's meant to be a top coat but I like how subtle it is.
I might reapply that stuff and see if I can manage to give myself a french manicure on top of it.

Well my intention was to do a quilting with *ahem* borrowed *ahem* 1/16" chartpak tape from work but the tape wasn't moldable enough for the edges between flesh/nail. I have 8 nails with gold glitter (don't remember what brand) and 2 with SH Lustre Shine Lava for bases. Then SH NGMiracle Forbidden Fudge was supposed to go over it, didn't happen. I have since done research to find out where to get this mythical masking tape, it has to be somewhere right? Yep, turns out it's in quite a few places if you search hard enough. Painting for model cars/planes/whatnot, automotive supply places (bit expensive here) for striping & body work and some craft places have it as well for embellishment & artwork. Amazon had some that I purchased just because it was a better deal with all the sizes. Amazon.com: Rainbow Tape Acid Free Masking Tape -18 Roll Pack: Arts, Crafts & Sewing
You may see a quilting or three from me in the future!

Revlon's Impulsive. I love this colour on me! Pics later.
I debated quite a bit about buying it or another China Glaze, but I ended up with this because I trust Revlon and had a bad experience with China Glaze......and I was right

RCC, love that name, and that bottle!
I did a half nail in Sally Hansen Speedy Sunburst.
I used RCC's trick of turning the nail on the brush. Worked fairly well. When I finished I said, Hmm, should have done a gray base on the bottom.
The pinky is the perfect width of a tip for me. I went too low in the middle finger, and its gonna bug me, but I don't feel like trying to fix it, so I'm going to accept it.
I think next time I'll use a little remover on an eye makeup brush to clean up the edge like the nail ladies do.

Today I did soaked my nails in 5 min bubble white, cut and filed them, used of AC ridge filler as a base coat and applied 3 thin coats of Orly Winter Wonderland.

I said I was going to accept the imperfections. That's funny. What's funnier is that I actually tried to believe that.
So, I fixed them.

Are these the cutest little things you ever did see?
They were part of a gift exchange (rest of the gifts - at least the stuff I didn't eat already - are in the background). And no we didn't ever wait til December to open our presents. : )
