I need suggestions for a base cost & top coat. I went to Ulta last week and picked up Essie, then put it back and got OPI. I walked around some more put OPI back and picked up Orly. I ended up leaving empty handed.

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only indecisive shopper who does things like this.

CL, maybe you could post a picture of all your cute new polish lined up and we could help you pick.

LA Colors' "Color Craze Collection"

I have Splash (the blue) and Phenomena (the magenta).

They are about 0.17 oz/4.9 ml.

ETA: I promise to start using my camera to start taking pics. My phone camera is getting worse every day.

Here you go. Some of them may be spring/summer colors (pinks, blues) but here's my haul!

Left to right: Licorice, Deluxe Chocolate, Cherry Jubilee, Ruby Slipper (red with silver glitter), Rebel Rose, Lagoon, Sea Breeze.

I love Ruby Slipper. It is so sparkly.

I love avon polishes. I also have the cherry jubilee, lagoon and sea breeze. But I don't have them in the current formulation.

Great colors! I vote for either deluxe chocolate (does it have a sparkle?) or cherry jubilee.

I have Licorice! It's a great black nail polish.

I'm liking Rebel Rose, Lagoon and Sea Breeze.

Liking Lagoon more though.

I also won a bottle of China Glaze Glittering Garland that I wish came before Christmas! But I can still use it! And emerald is the color of the year 2013!
(not my pic)

I want to use some of my stamps. I have a snowman, Christmas tree and some snowflakes. ???

Deluxe Chocolate does have sparkle and it shines a coppery color. This will also be perfect for fall!

I was thinking Ruby Slippers, I can stamp silver snowflakes or a snowman on that, or not.

Or...Lagoon with silver, white or gold snowflakes.

Votes? More ideas?

if you need a base coat without treatment i like orly nail armor. it's got little fibers in it. a good base coat. i LOVE the sec n' dry top coat by orly. it dries fast and shiny and helps reduce chipping.

i am bad, BAD girl....

i swear i went into Trade Secrets to just buy a bottle of polish for my 14-year-old cousin for xmas (and i got her Zoya Trinity - OMG, such a colour!), but somehow i came out with OPI Your Web or Mine for me!

since i broke a nail while shoveling snow yesterday, i'm going to have to go get the break fixed and have my polished changed to put the new colour on today.

I'm so overdue to get my nails done. They're Christmasy from the beginning of December.

Next will be New Years/boyfriends birthday. I'm planning on doing a nude tipped French manicure with black bows under the tip line.

I'm sorry, but buying anything from the OPI Spiderman or Bond collections is totally forgivable. I think I'm going to freak hardcore if I ever find My Boyfriend Scales Walls. That looks like the most perfect white ever!

CL: I like Lagoon with silver.....

Chocolate Deluxe with silver/white snowflakes may be pretty too.
