No solutions for peeling nails, guys?

i do think drinking ample amounts of water and getting healthy fats help everything from nails to skin, etc but it take my vitamins and drink well so i really don't know. my nails are a bit better now than they have been but i still have peelies that if i don't treat can make my nails look bad and cause breaking. i want my nails as nice as possible for some pics i'm taking in feb. gotta stay on top of it.

I don't think I've seen that here (and I'm trying to clear my card before I buy anything else online), but I will keep an eye out. It's good to know that I'm not the only one with this problem, I was scared for a while.
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

Kayb, My nails are like Springs. They are thick and strong but excessive painting makes them peel. I have two that are in rough shape now. It's taken them awhile to break down, but they will go back to normal if I take a break.

When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

So many gorgeous colours, dang girls!

Anyone have a solution for nails peeling? In that it looks like my nails have an additional layer on top that peels off. it's really messing up my manicures. My last mani lasted 6 days before the nail started to peel and I removed it.

I will be violating my no-buy. I want a nude nail polish, and Avon is having 4 (from their Speed Dry Line) for $10, so....yeah.

Cuban: Please post more!!!! I'm loving that shade.

I'm also making an effort to remove my polish the night before my mani so that I can moisturize my nails overnight. I think this is more of a bandaid and not really a "cure" though.

Side note, thanks for the compliment and the invite. That is one of my favorite shades this season. It's a complex color that looks even better in person. A brownish/coppery/purple?
3a/b, fine texture, low porosity, normal elasticity, mod-CG 7/11/11

Like BS/ACV rinses, limit protein/humectants.
I never thought about that Curly Cuban!

I think I'll buff when I get home, and try some soaking as well. I usually don't wait between polishes. Guess it's back to removing them on Friday night and doing them on Sundays.

For anyone who is interested in OPI spotted, here is a cutepolish video on how to DIY it. I suspect, that like a water marble, it looks easier to to then it actually is.

I'm still loving the liquid sand. 3 days and no chipping at all. That is unheard of for me. There is a tiny bit of wear on the ends but nothing noticeable. I still can't stop touching it

For peeling, I'm still using the Nail Aid. Great stuff. My peels are more rare and smaller, and only occur when I have too many demo shifts in a row. Nail Aid is the bomb.com.

I'm going short and naked for my nails this month. I want to grow out some yellowing on my tips. I don't wear polish all the time, so I have to balance it out to have nice naked nails.

Wow. I can't believe that people actually do some of these nails.

The one with the gold foiling looks all lame in comparison to the rest of the bunch.

In regard to Nail Aid Peeling Nail treatment, after two weeks use, so far so good! Hope that trend continues here.
