I recently started using this same product recommended by RCC. So far, so good, but it's really too soon to see how much it may help.

I don't think I've seen that here (and I'm trying to clear my card before I buy anything else online), but I will keep an eye out. It's good to know that I'm not the only one with this problem, I was scared for a while.

Kayb, My nails are like Springs. They are thick and strong but excessive painting makes them peel. I have two that are in rough shape now. It's taken them awhile to break down, but they will go back to normal if I take a break.

My nails peel too. I took a 3 day break from polish. I buffed them with a very fine buffer (adds shine and smooths them) and soaked them in warm olive oil daily. I also applied almond or coconut oil throughout the day. They are much better now. That seemed to help. I'm also making an effort to remove my polish the night before my mani so that I can moisturize my nails overnight. I think this is more of a bandaid and not really a "cure" though.
Side note, thanks for the compliment and the invite. That is one of my favorite shades this season. It's a complex color that looks even better in person. A brownish/coppery/purple?

I never thought about that Curly Cuban!
I think I'll buff when I get home, and try some soaking as well. I usually don't wait between polishes. Guess it's back to removing them on Friday night and doing them on Sundays.

For anyone who is interested in OPI spotted, here is a cutepolish video on how to DIY it. I suspect, that like a water marble, it looks easier to to then it actually is.

I'm still loving the liquid sand. 3 days and no chipping at all. That is unheard of for me. There is a tiny bit of wear on the ends but nothing noticeable. I still can't stop touching it

I was the same way! I also made everyone around me pet my nails!
I'm wearing and loving Essie's Mink Muffs. Great color!

For peeling, I'm still using the Nail Aid. Great stuff. My peels are more rare and smaller, and only occur when I have too many demo shifts in a row. Nail Aid is the bomb.com.

I have some neons that I hardly ever use. I like how this looks!
---------------------
I'm going short and naked for my nails this month. I want to grow out some yellowing on my tips. I don't wear polish all the time, so I have to balance it out to have nice naked nails.

I think I'm going to give them a break for this week (and maybe next). School doesn't start for a while so I can at least let them rest until then. I'm going to soak, cut and pamper later.

It works as a masking product as opposed to a treatment product. The nail goes back to its natural color when the product is removed. Still, it's pretty good for what it is.

I buffed the last time my nails peeled. It really helped.
I say you should go Minx.
And post pictures.

The craziest nail designs of all time - MSN Living
Who is going to do the Batman nails?
The nails with pearls? (the remind me of gremlins or something)
Tetris nails? How uncomfortable can that be?
I would TOTALLY do the astro turf nail without the people and the trees.
Ninja nails? How would you put your hands in your pockets?
Duckfeet nails? Yuck!
Swiss army? uhh..... no thanks!
Edward scissorhands? I think I'd poke my eye out!
Clamshells? It looks like her nails are peeling back.
Wow. I can't believe that people actually do some of these nails.
The one with the gold foiling looks all lame in comparison to the rest of the bunch.

Essie Ballet Slippers. I wanted a little break from the darker colors.
In regard to Nail Aid Peeling Nail treatment, after two weeks use, so far so good! Hope that trend continues here.
