I use Zoya Anchor base coat, or sometimes an OPI base coat. I use Sally Hansen top coat (the one that you can also use as a base coat). I wait about two minutes between coats. I apply thin coats of color so sometimes I have to use three coats. Then I top the whole situation with a quick dry top coat - I think right now I have an OPI version.

I got my Zoya today - I hope I like it. I keep getting polishes free from then but often have bubbling issues.
I got Sarah, Cheryl, and Drew.

I usually wait a bit longer between thin coats. You might try that if you get bubbling, that could be contributing. Different brands need a bit more time.
Sending *No Bubble* vibes your way! Those are nice colors! I have and love Drew.

My naked piggies are horrific, I don't even look at them. I've got some white spots on my two big toes that always seem to come about when I keep my nails painted all the time with no breaks in between. I've been going without polish all winter hoping it will grow out before summer. I just did some googling and read that putting Vick's vapo rub on the nail can help. So weird, but I'm going to give it a try.

My husbands big toe has had a kind of toe nail fungus and he had prescription medications for it and it was not helping him out too good .One night when reading a nail blog I came across the Vicks Vapor Rub thing that she tried for her husband with much improvement, so we gave it a try and its clearing up nicely.

Also, another tip that I picked up about polishes is that we shouldn't shake them. Instead turn them upside down and roll between your palms a few times. This helps to warm the polish and makes it easier to apply.

I do this too. My nailtiques instructions say to do it that way and so I do it to all my polishes.

Sally's Ruby Slippers:
Please ignore my cuticles and the remnants of my last mani. Does it look like I need another coat of the red?

that's what I have on my toes right now . I think I did two coats. Yours looks good to me, but I'm on my touch pad. It may look different on a better screen.

Do you dishes and housework without rubber gloves? That'll kill a mani. Wear rubber gloves!

I don't wear gloves and mine last. I am not a fan of OPI
Lovely range, but no.

This is me with Zoya. But I keep trying.
I have great luck with OPI - it and Sally Hansen are my two favorite nail polishes. I also like Essie a lot, but I get seven-day wear out of OPI and Sally consistently and Essie less so.

Yom, are your nails thin and bendy? In the winter most of my nails get harder, except for the right middle finger which constantly peels so it is thin and bends. The edges of that one quickly look like your chipped nails. The other nails stay nice for a long time.

I always wear rubber gloves, that can't be the prolem.
My nails are thin and bendy. I started taking biotin (5000mcg) again at the end of october. Doesn't seem to help so far...
