i have on opi nail envy. i'm starting my own nail challenge again. as y'all saw on the last page my nail broke. i decided to cut them all and nurture them back without the peeling (hopefully). the two pics on the left are sans polish. the next two are the polish i'll be using during my challenge and the last pic on the right is what my nails look like?

If any one wants to give it a try Sally Henson's hard as wraps has been working wonders on my once brittle and peeling nails. I've been using it as a base coat for the last 6mos or so, my nails are noticeably stronger and I haven't seen any peeling in months!

You are welcome, Bretty!
Don't worry, P. I won't

I meant to mention Revlon's Moon Candy nail art line when I posted my last manicure. I picked up Supernova, *Galactic*, and Meteor when they first came out.

I loved the look of the foil glitters, but they are so thick it is pathetic. One coat creates and thick, lumpy, and sticky mess. If anyone has thought about these, you might want to mix the glitter with a watery top coat.

Maybe try adding some polish thinner??

I just bought this this weekend too! I have it over black as an accent nail. Navy would suit it much better though.

Polish thinner would probably work as well. The glitter is more of gel-ish consistency. It gets tacky and hard to work with the moment it hits air.

I just finished a very glittery mani. The base color is Revlon Color stay in Bonsai. Next I used 1 coat of China Glaze White Cap, and I finished it up with Revlon Meteor and top coat.

I'm wearing Zoya Elisa today. Such a pretty, classic red. It makes me feel very sophisticated.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a quick-dry topcoat that doesn't cause shrinkage? I've been using Seche Vite, which definitely dries things quickly and has a nice shine, but the shrinkage at the tips is so, so bad! I've tried Poshe because it's 3-free, but it's so gloppy.

^ I've had great luck with the Sally H Insta-Dri topcoat. This one:

It's dry to the touch in 30 seconds, and rummage-around-in-your-purse dry in 30 more. It does tend to drag more delicate nail art (stamps, dots, etc) that isn't completely dry, so I always make sure everything is nice and set before I use it.

I was having the shrinkage problem as well wit Seche Vite. I just started using Out The Door fast drying top coat for nails I got it at Sallys about 2 weeks ago and have only used it 2 times so far, it drys fast and the 2. Polishes that I used with it (Zoya and Jade holograhic) did not have the shrinkage.

Fifi, I have the Revlon Moon Art in the middle picture that you posted.

It *IS* so thick and goopy. But I managed to work with it and I LOVED how it looked. If I could get my computer to work correctly, I'd post pictures.

Thanks, KK! I was in the mood for green.

It is a pain, Minxy. I had to doctor it a little. I am having a slight problem with the glitter pieces raising up, through the topcoat, today. I smushed them all down last night, and did 2 top coats, but my nails could cut someone today.

** And you better post a pic That one is my favorite.
