I see a lot of blogs recommend using a small angled eyeliner or eye shadow brush dipped in acetone to go around the edges to make them neat. I like to use the pointy tipped q-tips but they tend to get kinda...mushy after a few nails so I go through a lot. The brush idea is probably way more economical.

I found Whirled Away at my Pharmacy!!!!
I got that and two more China Glaze polishes. Pics soon.
The cashier and another customer were really curious about Whirled Away. They just could not figure out what it is.

I've been using an angled brush. I just got a new one the other day, An e.l.f. from target. It's plastic, not painted wood and won't get black paint all over my hands! I have gotten better at using it since I started. It's not perfect but certainly better than it was.

I did a super-cute dotticure with Zoya Dove (pale grey) as the base and Skylar (French blue with shimmer), Marley (pale lavender), and Bevin (pale grey-green) for the dots. Of course, I promptly smudged two nails.

2 coats of Essie Lady Like with a matte top coat.
This pic will have to do. My camera is making the polish look much lighter than it is.

Please know that I am mentally down for that challenge. The nails of my thumb got so brittle they broke and I have been so terrified since that I have decided to give my nails a break again. Maybe a week or two. I may participate in the last two weeks or so of the challenge.
Speaking of challenge. Did we ever agree to go polish free at least one week per month? Y'all need to remind me of these things!
