This is my attempt at the water spot nails. It worked, but it was so hard to photograph.
That was my anti-valentine's day nails.

Just applied 2 coats of Orly High on Hope. I love the red or coppery flecks in this polish. They do not pick up as well on camera, but it is a nice touch.

Took this earlier (Wednesday) while soaking up some sun. My nails are bare at the moment. I actually peeled the polish off (gel strength base coat + color(s) + top coat). Does anyone else do that? Sometimes it's just so easy to peel them off. They stayed chipless for 5 days.
Old standby...Wet-N-Wild Megalast in Undercover. The ring finger was topped with Avon Speed Dry in Ballerina.

That is EXACTLY why I'm not painted right now Sew and Sew! The glitter tipped nail polish came off entire fingers at a time. (Side note: figured out my nails are wider than my roommate's.) And I was using gel strength base, color and top. Le frustrating.
So I'm trying to grow the section out so that I can repaint.

My new mani: Jesse's Julie G Frosted Gum Drops in Blueberry Fizz. I stamped flowers on my thumbs and added a top coat (thumbs only), so it lost the 3D effect.

Sugar Rush
I only bought that one. It took lots of will power to not buy more.

That looks very Eastery/Spring-like.
Wearing China Glaze's Splish Splash under Whirled Away. Such a beautiful combo

So I was excited to get the silver and green Urban Outfitters holographic polishes at christmas time and this weekend I used the green holo. I was a bit disappointed in the color itself( it looks more of a light blue if you ask me) but I LOVE the strong holo effect

and....the app won't post my picture. I'll try again, later.
I haven't had color on my nails in weeks and weeks. This is Essie's Check Up for Easter week.

I put on 3 coats of Essie Ballet Slippers. I was going to put a thin coat of Sally's Lustre Shine in Moonstone (pearly white with hints of pink) on top of it but I might leave it as is. I am loving the look of ballet slippers.

Ballet Slippers is my go-to, or my fall-back, or whatever you call it. It's too easy to wear that I go with it, rather than make a choice of color (yes, I'm lazy ) Does the Lustre Shine really show up? I'd love to be able to jazz it up a bit.

mini rant-
Sinful colors doesn't label their polishes, so in the last 6 months 3 of the bottles I bought turned out to be matte. it's not a big deal, they colors are awesome but it would be nice to know before hand when I'm doing my nail art and not be surprised.
In case anyone wants new mattes-
Nirvana (nice brownish/tanish neutral)
Savage (lovely teal, like lighter more neon version of OPI's ski teal we drop)
Dream on ( bright neon pinkish purple)
are all mattes that I've found so far.
