What nail polish do you have on at the moment?

Wow, 8 years! It looks good!

This is the first time I've painted my fingernails in probably 8 years and it feels...weird. And I've already nicked the polish so this won't last long (the day, at best, before I take it off).

Sally Hansen gunmetal. It's a pretty color and I'll definitely use it on my toes.

i'm so bummed. my nails are at a pretty length but they are peeling so badly that i need to cut them. a day or two in my nail polish cracks along the peels. i'm going to go heavy on the orly nailtrition and hopefully baby my nails back to health. my acupuncturist says that peels in the nails indicate digestive issues which i know i've had. urgh...bummer!

Orly Lunar Eclipse and Sally Hansen Midnight Sky
The lunar eclipse has some purple in it, but I couldn't get it to photograph right.

I'd really like to do one nail orange with the gunmetal on the rest to celebrate Halloween for the month. I need to go shopping and find some orange!

I know one thing for sure, I gotta cut these nails because they're making me crazy.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
This thread is interesting since I can track growth.

Sep 6th trim.

Oct 1st mani.

I just trimmed tonight which made me think of it. I want last week's length for Halloween, so I figured I'd trim tonight.

I did an ombre with 5 grey creams. I'll list and describe them later when it's daylight and I can get day pics instead of lamp pics.

Here are lamp pics, though.

Thanks! It was fun to do! I didn't want to wait a whole month to go through testing a bunch of new cremes, so, I figured I'd wear them all at once!

Here's a web pic of the lunar eclipse that shows the purple a bit better. I think it's red micro glitter that combines with the blue to give a purple impression rather than straight up purple.
