Sally Hansen Insta Dry in Slick Slate (i think the name is).
But it has a bit more of a brown hue in it than the picture. It looks like mud. I like it.
Using my iphone with my toe thumbs. There will be typos.

I bought this for moms-i-l (Orly V.I.P.). She loved it, put it on almost immediately after we got there. She is such a cool lady.

How do you guys put a photo directly into your reply? I always get a little white box with a red dot in it if I try to click the "mountain" icon to add a photo. I'm obviously doing something wrong and just have to add a link instead.

I used the website Tinypic when I wanted to put a pic directly in a post from my computer. I think more use photobucket.

Ok, for color descriptions.
The Nubar Fortress set has five grey cremes. I'm impatient, so I decided to try them all at once. I thought a gradient would be neat. But, I just clipped my nails, so a gradient wouldn't show as well. So, I went with an ombre-esque mani. This way I can at least see all the colors separately.
Here are the colors.
Stronghold is a dark grey leaning towards charcoal. it seems cool toned.
Palisade is a cool blue toned medium grey.
Barricade is a yellow/beige toned medium grey.
Citadel is a pale grey with yellowy undertones.
Marble Tower is a really pale light grey that looks a bit bluish.
And, all together.
I was surprised that I liked the lighter ones. I like the cooler ones (index and pinky) the best.

I just got a mini bottle of this. I'm going to try it under black crackle. Steeler colors. : )

You could also try OPI Simply Smash-Ing. I used that for the Super Bowl last year.

I'm on Curltalk for iPhone app. In the upper right corner there's an ' insert' button for pics.

The one I got was very gold (not at all pink) but it was a mini and I don't even know if the name was on the bottle.

I found the name of my gold Orly glitter (had to use a magnifyer on that teeny bottle) and it's called Glitz & Glamour.

So I took the black off-- came of FABULOUSLY, unlike the Orly black. The Orly got eeeeeeverywhere. This just slid right off.
I put the Orly purple (Wild Wisteria) on. I was hoping for a Ravens purple, but it's suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper dark, almost black. Of course I like black, so it could be worse, but it's not what I was after. Application is pretty good-- mostly smooth, I got a runof air bubbles on one nail that I had to fix. The end result isn't as thick as I'd like, though.

I just did my nails in Sally Hansen Grey Area - it's my favorite gray so far. No pic yet as I still need to do the cleanup.
Sent from my iPhone using CurlTalk.
