Thank for posting this blod. I have been reading it in my spare time. The woman who writes it is very smart about nails and nailcare. She recommends a product called DermaNail for peeling nails. She says it really helped her. I ordered it and am going to try it, in addition to adding more moisturizer to my nails/hands twice a day. I will try anything to help my nails not peel.
She also has a series of posts on nail treatments like hardeners with different ingredients and how they work. I like that she has a bit of scientific info to help explain the nail products.

I may order it too.
I can't get behind her on the formaldehyde thing. I understand it, but am not willing to get yellow nails from it, or to buff the crap out of my nails when they do, lol.
It's a bit different than other blogs. I like it.

I agree about buffing out the yellow. I wouldn't have any nails left! But I have never had yellow nails, no matter what nail polish or treatment I use and how often.
She did recommend a flouride hardener that sounded interesting but I tried to order it and it cannot be shipped to APO. So I'm going to try the DermaNail and see if that makes a difference first.

Stole another of Bretty's designs:
Bare:
Step one:
Step two:
And done:
Wish the orange was not so sheer, made it harder to get good coverage. But I think I like it overall.

I forgot to take a naked picture.
Revlon Emerald City. Two coats of Essie Shine of the Times on the accent nail. I'm starting to think Shine of the Times might not me for me. I'll try it over a very dark color next time I use it. I might like that.
I think I must be subconsciously missing Christmas. I have green and sparkles on my nails and red toes.

Poor Cutepolish. People were mean about her tie dye.
I like how she tries to make designs that newbies like me can do.

i luv it when there's a burst of neew designs here! i started my "texans nails" but i didn't get to finish with the white part but here they are anyway (needing to be redone). i'm going to just do one nail and do it all the way right with the texans mascot and the other nails will be a neutral color.

that's pretty cool!!
trbl, what kind of tape is that? painters tape? i was considering gift wrap tape. in the above pic i used those manicure stickies but with my nails being long they didn't fit quite right on some nails. i am super excited to do my official next try at TEXANS NAILS!!!

I wanted to *like* this post. But I wanted to be clear I like the manicure and not the Texans.
RCC- Broncos are my back up team. I'm Tebowing right now.
I'm a Vikings fan myself. *puts paper bag on head to hide my shame*
wmariej-Makes me wish I had nail polish skills. *puts bag back on head to hide shame*
