See now I LURV that third one. If I was skinny I'd were it with some really faded straight leg jeans and cute flats. Kinda boho hippie.

I am so All I can think of is the housecoats my mom used to wear in the 60s. OK...what is the difference between housecoats and dusters?

What's all that stuff on it? Is it thread, or thin metal? It's all......tangled -looking on the hood part. It makes me anxious.

The **** is with their hair?

Again, I'm in love with this one and would totally wear it. I collect artsy jackets like this. I don't think they're over-muumuu-y at all.

But, maybe I'm just an over-muumuu-wearer and I don't know it.
Also, the name "Norman Fell": also a sentence.

Just think I used to worry 'bout things like that,
Used to worry 'bout rich and skinny, 'til I wound up poor and fat,

Clearly y'all have never watched a telenovela, as over-mumus are not at all mysterious. Many, many, poor, older, mother-type characters living in a humble vecindad sport over-mumus.

And really, the correct spelling of mumu is muumuu? Looks so wrong.

El Clon, the original, is Brazilian. Brazilian telenovelas are significantly better and more realistic than most Mexican telenovelas. Poor women in Brazil don't fall prey to the over-mumu, clearly.
The re-make of El Clon, which I did not watch, was filmed in Miami (but was not a typical Miami production with actors that only get Miami roles) and also, since it was the same storyline (modern, science-y), there was no place for an over-mumu.
Miami telenovelas (the typical ones that feature mostly actors who never do anything but Miami novelas) are uniformly awful, cheesy, and often very trashy, save for 2 or 3. But poor characters are more likely to wear hideous floral shirts and dresses that look straight out of the 80s.
For over-mumus, you need to hit up Mexican telenovelas. Carmen Salinas is a classic over-mumu wearer.

There is a lot of fresh information here for me to absorb.

Hay mucha información fresca aquí para que absorba.

wd, I can't see the pics with trousers; could you please wave your magic muumuu wand like you did yesterday?

(my computer just self-corrected the spelling of muumuu, twice, so I guess it is "muumuu")
