Regardless, I like it. It's mellow and upbeat.

I like most house whatever the genre! Really, what's not to like?!?!

Right.

Where are the junglists a.k.a the drum and bassers?

Any old skool junglists out there?

Found a nice drum and bass remix of Fugees Ready or Not.

Here is a 1-hour contemporary Drum and Bass segment.

Listening to something called Liquid Drum and Bass which is quite nice.

StormCloudCurly, The Underground has become my new anthem. Thank you so much for this fantastic song! You know I was overseas at a club and once heard a song that give me the thrill of my life and I could never remember the name of it but I knew the beat and I think this is it! I am so stoked right now to have finally found my song 10 years later!

I'm more of a progressive house, tribal house, deep dark dirty house girl myself. If I can find links to some, I'll post. I'm thinking of this one fist-pumping inducing cd that has a few anthems...

Here are a few that bring back memories...

Blow the Speakers

Relentless: Ass-shaking, foot-stomping, hands-in-the-air, brings me back to Exit at 5am. Whatever I was doing, if I wasn't on the dance floor, people better move out the way, cause I needed to work. it. OUT! One of my all time faves.

Flibberty Jib (I can only find a sample)

Stop Fooling Around

Feel This

Disco Dancing: Another ass-shaker.

"It's a spiritual thang" .. and I loooove it "hard, dark, and sexy". I'm a natural born disco baby, and if you put a conga or timbale anywhere near me my a s s will move to it.

I also dj'd for several years (1999 - 2006), sold my equipment to pay some bills a few years ago, but kept all my crates of vinyl. I have to repurchase my Technics because life is short and I *NEED* to get back into it. I play mostly (hard) tribal, progressive, tribal techno, disco house, etc... I love me a good peak hour, and love to play for people.

I can't give you a complete track listing but some of my favorite DJs/Producers/Artists/Labels are:

John Creamer
Josh Wink
Masters At Work
Danny Tenaglia (of course)
Armand Van Helden
Robbie Rivera
Celeda
Kevin Aviance
Yoshi Toshi Records
Eight Ball Records
Star 69
Peter Rauhofer
and many many more..

I'm glad you like it! "If you can hang 'til daybreak, you know you're coming home late"...massive track. Ha ha you know what, I do a "shoulder dance" to these tunes too! It's so hard to find some of these songs because they're not so easy to search up, especially if there aren't any lyrics.

What about these - I think of them as the companion tracks to the Underground because they are closely associated in time in my memory:
Welcome to the Jungle: YouTube - Thick Dick Presented By E Smoove - Welcome To The Jungle
Keep Control: YouTube - keep control
Elements: YouTube - Danny Tenaglia - Elements (Live In Miami)
Hide U:YouTube - Kosheen - Hide U (John Creamer & Stephane K remix) (Original Vocal Test Press)
Tons of versions of all of these. They were pretty huge.

Glad I'm not the only shoulder-dancer

I totally agree that it's hard to find the songs. I know the DJs that play what I like to hear but have no idea what the songs are called for the most part!

Love all the tracks on your list!

Welcome to the Jungle has got me hooked!

Really enjoyed the Kosheen. LOOOOVVEEDD the build up! This might be the only time that anyone on NC loves buildup!
