I put a little in my car last night and it was $3.75 per gallon at the station I used. This was the cheapest price there.

I pumped gas this morning for $3.59. That was at one of the cheaper gas stations, though.

I believe we are hovering just under $4. I try not to look, I have to buy it no matter what price it is.

There is a gas station right outside my subdivision that read $3.55 last night, but it's always one of the higher stations in my area. I would say the rest of them are between $3.45 and $3.52. I haven't gotten any gas since last week and I always go to that particular station unless I can't. I think I paid $3.42 and put it right at $40 for my Hyundia Sonata.

This is me - I have to buy it; why agonize over the price? Plus one tank of gas lasts me about three weeks since I only live about three miles from work.

Oh my gosh .. I fill up my car 2 times a week (I drive 1,000km+ a week. Sorry, earth!) and we're sitting at 4.85$ / gallon.

Or, in Canada-land about 1.29/L. With prices increasing tomorrow 5 cents

It's right around $3.85/gallon in western NY right now.

My honda accord costs me around $60 to fill up, which is completely outrageous. She has either a 15 or 16 gallon tank (which is pretty large for a car) but STILL.

I'm outraged. Don't get me started.

I also get about 280 miles to one tank of gas, in town. I'm guessing my mileage would be even better if I ever drove on a highway!

I live close to work for lots of reasons - convenience, miniscule commute, love the neighborhood, and yes, to try to reduce the emissions my little car puts out there.

But most importantly, I am NOT a morning person and if I had to get up any earlier just to drive to work I'd be pissed off all the time. As it is, to get to work by 8:00 I have to leave at 7:45 and it irritates me.

Yeah, I live 35 - 40 minutes from my university, my boyfriend is 20 minutes (thankfully in the same direction) but where I ride is 30 minutes in the OPPOSITE direction from boyfriend and school.
I'm jealous you live so close! I leave for class at 7.50 and it doesn't start until 8.40

As a future public health inspector .. I feel bad for clocking so many miles but until I graduate, there's no way around it! I just wish gas prices would come down a little so I could afford to do more than keep my car fed!!!

Around $3.45-3.50 a gallon around here. I have to fill up my car about once a week, because doing anything other than driving to school would be too inefficient. It just makes me want to pick up wings and start trying to fly.

At Wawa: $3.49
At BP: $3.65

There's a Wawa and a BP right across from each other near me. BP is crazy. A $0.16 difference? No wonder they're always deserted.

It's just too much. One of the first things I will do when I'm employed again is look into buying a Prius.
