We also use filtered tap water, from a Culligan faucet attachment. (Straight tap in FL is just awful.)

Yeah, I prefer not to drink tap water (because of the fluoride) and I wasn't thinking it would be cost effective to use bottled but I figured I'd ask what other people were doing.

My parents got one for Christmas. I really liked the Coke Zero flavor and the natural root beer flavor. Good stuff!

I was wondering if the soda tasted more like Coke or Pepsi. The energy drink was pretty real, lol. Liked the orange. Haven't tried more yet since I'm liking it plain, too.

Getting this for my birthday! I love seltzer and am drooling thinking of all the delicious (and healthy) combos now! Idk why, but when watching the commercials it never occurred to me that it's also aseltzer maker (I know, duh) the "soda" in soda stream just didn't appeal to me.
Can anyone say if the plain seltzer compares to say Perrier? I'm slightly afraid I won't like it. I'm sure it largely depends on what kind of water you use to make it and I'm guessing I should get the one that makes smaller bubbles...

I'm not a soda drink, so this never appealed to me. but now that I'm allergic to practically ever drink, I'm desperate to drink something other than tea and water.
How do you make your own recipes? What are the healthy options you are referring to?

I use mine occasionally. I still haven't tried the tea concentrate but this bump reminded me.
I just bought some Pom pommegranate juice (has a lot of nutritional benefits, apparently) this wknd and added it to seltzer I made in my Soda Stream. Pretty good.
I keep saying i'm going to concoct some kind of fizzy coffee drink but I haven't so far.
I use regular tap water that has been chilled in the fridge. (In our house, bottled water is for company LOL)

I use mine all the time. I usually drink diet cola and diet pink grapefruit. I like the raspberry-cranberry flavor, too. The ginger ale is gross, though. We make our own flavors with Crystal Light sometimes, too.
SL, we chill our bottles first, too. It seems to make them more fizzy.

That's a great idea! Hadn't thought of that.

Anyone else find that it totally explodes w/ fix, like all over the table, when you add the Cola syrup? But reacts normally w/ everything else?

Which model do you all have?
I checked the site and saw lots of models but not very much info on them or how they differ (mobile version, the web version may be different).
