Favorite k-cups?
I received a Keurig coffee maker for Mother's day this morning and so far so good although I have only tried two flavors that came with my machine. They were Gloria Jean's Hazelnut and Coffee People Donut Shop Coffee. They were okay but maybe not something I would want everyday. I like a medium blend but am willing to try anything. So what are some of your favorites and do you order from Keurig or Amazon or somewhere else?

We order from the Keurig site because you get the points back for a discount on stuff.
For non-coffee stuff (my dad is the only one who drinks regular coffee. My mom and I only drink espresso) the apple cider is good, as is the Chai latte, and every tea I've tried is great.
The hot cocoa is okay--not great, but passable when you need a fix.

I find all the coffees to be weak, but I've liked all the teas I've tried, especially the chai.
I don't own a machine...just drink it a lot at my son's karate studio. I have no clue where they purchase it from.

I love Coffee People Kona blend and Wakeup Call. They're both dark/bold roasts though.

Just because you like darker roasts, don't not post. I'm okay with darker/bolder roasts because I like to try new things and my machine has three cup sizes so if something is a bit strong for me on the regular size, I will just try to make a larger cup. I am finding a lot of flavors I think sound really good. Which chai are you guys talking about? It seems like there are a few brands that make chai in the kcups.

Green Mountain Southern Pecan (regular)
Tully's Coffee Kona Blend (strongish)
Diedrich Coffee French Roast (strong)
Gloria Jean's French Vanilla Supreme (light)
We have two Kuerigs for our offices, and they are kept well stocked with a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate. LOVE!!
I don't drink coffee regularly, and it does mess up my sleep pattern if it's regular or above on my homemade scale and consumed after 10-11 AM. I always press the larger cup size.

I pretty much only buy green mountain coffee, whether it's k-cups or regular coffees. It's hard to find flavored k- cups so I usually only buy the Nantucket blend or the breakfast blend. Of the two, the Nantucket is darker. If I order online, then. At Christmas time, it's easier to find different flavor. I guess I really need to start ordering them online.

If you register your warranty on-line, you will get a deal where if you order two large boxes, you get two more large boxes free. At least that was the deal when I bought mine. The variety and prices ARE better from Keurig, in my experience.
I like the Caribou coffees, and would place another vote for the Nantucket blend. Currently I'm drinking the Caribou Breakfast Blend. Don't like flavored coffees.

I have a Tassimo so can't help with flavors but I can say I just plain drool at the ish ton of flavors they have for Keurig at Bed Bath and Beyond. So if you're out and you need some like NOW and you have a BBB nearby...

Unfortunately, no Bed, Bath and Beyond here. I'm in Japan and I guess I have to order from Keurig anyway because Amazon will not ship the k-cups overseas because they are grocery items. They didn't have a problem mailing my husband two huge barrels of Utz cheese balls!?!?
I got the special that fig jam was talking about on keurig.com and even with that savings, I treated myself to $100 worth of coffee and tea yesterday. Keurig does have a great selection. I know this is probably pure novelty for me now and I will find a couple favorites and stick with them or even get the Solofill or My K Cup to use my own coffee in the future. And fig jam, you are right again. I'm drinking the Caribou Breakfast Blend this morning and I love it! I have a Nantucket to try too so that may be my second cup. I can't wait to get some of the ones I ordered. I will probably be on permabuzz for awhile.
Also, I must love weak coffee because all of the ones I have tried have been fine even on the largest setting. I can definitely fill my travel mug and the coffee still tastes good to me.

I'm so glad you like it -- it's definitely one of my favorites. And I must like weak coffee, too -- I use the next to the largest setting, and it's perfect for me. (Actually, I don't think I like weak coffee -- but I have friends who can't seem to get it strong enough for their liking, anywhere, any time.)

^^^Hmmmm, PRINCETON, Johnny Walker sounds good. Too bad they don't make that flavor!
I really don't think I like weak coffee at all but I guess some of the extra bold are just a bit much for me using the smaller cup sizes. But I'm learning how to adjust for my preferences.
I was saying to my husband how I feel like Kyle McLachlan's character on Twin Peaks, always saying "This is a damn good cup of coffee!"

Thought I'd bump this up because I got a Keurig for Christmas and I'm trying not to go crazy and buy a bunch of stuff I have no idea if I'll like or not.
I like a medium roast coffee and nothing flavored. There was a box of hot chocolate that came with my coffee maker and it was so nasty. It has artificial sweetener in it and that's all I could taste, one sip and I had to pour it out. So far I like Folgers Morning Cafe and Green Mountain Nantucket. We use the ecobrew reusable kcup as well, but I like having kcups on hand as well.
Someone needs to start a business where you can make your own combo pack of kcups to order!
