The Hobbit. I'm not fond of 3D but the boyfriend and his sons wanted to see it that way so we did. The only movie I've ever really loved in 3D was Avatar (which was utterly amazing in 3D). This one was no better in 3D than it would have been in 2D.
The movie was great (I'm a huge Tolkien geek), not as good as Lord of the Rings but lots of humor and it made me tear up a couple times. Good ending. Can't wait for the next one!

I really want to see this in a theater. My friend and I are supposed to go, but won't have a chance until after Christmas.

I am going to watch The Odd Life of Timothy Green before bed. I have been waiting for this one

^ I won't give away any spoilers but there is a longish part with gollum that I really enjoyed. Gollum's facial expressions are fantastic and meaningful.

He does have the best expressions and mood changes. I can not imagine loving anything more than LOTR, but I am sure I will enjoy these.
