So the new show is a sequel? Why would the main character have the same name? I could see her having the same code name but not the same regular name. That will irritate me a little. There is only ONE Nikita! hahaha.

I remember when Mr. Spring and I were dating we'd make sure to be together every week and watch La Femme Nikita. Seems like such a long time ago and I don't even remember anything about the show other than I liked it. I'm sure I was much too busy trying to get in his pants to actually pay enough attention to remember details about it. (we were around 18-ish, by the way...you know how teenagers are )

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

That is what my friend kept telling me, but I actually read up on it last night and saw it's a little different. It is based on the original french film Nikita, Point Of No Return (the remake starting Bridget Fonda), and the original series LFN. It starts out with Nikita escaping from Division, Michael still being in, and him later escaping and working with Nikita to bring Section/Operations down. Now from that point they can continue the story.

I did read Madeline (Alberta Watson) is a senator in the new series. Not sure how big her role is or if she is just occasionally mentioned, etc.

I hear you, Springy That was the only night of the week I refused to see my then boyfriend. Lol. He knew calling me would result in death. I would not have been able to pay attention, if around him.

He lived for re runs.

^^ Thanks for the information. So these actors are just replacing the old characters but are playing the same people. Got it.
I say the Bridget Fonda movie first, which made me go in search of the original version, and then I just HAD to watch the series. Maybe I'll take a look at the new one when tv slows down for the summer.

You chose Savages over Looper?! For shame.

Fifi you can go back in time and change your decision. watched LOOPER last night - actually at 2 am. pleasantly surprised how good it was. JGL is definitely a rising star.

Christian Slater's movie "Playback" a horror movie made 264$!!! last year. how far he has fallen

You are welcome, Jeep. I will at least try to give it go.

OBB, I will be heading back to the Looper future tomorrow. I have it on my watch list!

I am trying Project Runway, for the 3rd time.

Terminator 2, a solid 8/10. I don't know what took me so long to watch this movie. So good.

Hopefully, Django Unchained later tonight (If my friend decides not to flake on me).

Muppets

The one with Jason Segel. There is singing. I'm not a fan of musicals. I'm trying to give it a chance. I like short sentences. Tonight.

I want to watch that again.

I also have an urge to watch American Psycho, The Life of Brian and The Holy Grail.

But I'm watching Storage Wars. Why? Sometimes they find neat stuff but this stuffs all reruns.

saw PREMIUM RUSH with JGL again. and once again i was pleasantly surprised. very entertaining. JGL has a knack for picking good projects. his last four movies that ive seen Looper, Premium Rush, Dark Knight Rises and Inception have all been excellent. i havent seen Lincoln or 500 Days of Summer although ive heard good reviews

and that is why I'll PAY to watch any movie he's in. He makes really good movie choices. Don't know how I feel about Don Juan's Addiction tbh.

Just watched D'Jango.

I was more impressed by all that hair goodness then anything else in the movie. I normally like Taratino, but this wasn't his best... a lot of boring followed by an over-the-top fight scene, followed by an exploding house with Samuel L Jackson inside (and that much dynamite would NOT make that kind of an explosion, but if I'm going to argue about that, may as well argue about the excessive blood for the wounds given, or the lack of basic gun physics).

I give it a big fat old Meh.
