Last night I watched Looper with some friends. Really good movie.
This morning I am watching The Virgin Suicides, yet again.

That is me, for most of my life, when talking about Johnny Depp. I love his film choices. He often followed his heart rather than picking roles that would be the biggest box office success. After having children he started playing it safe, or more commercial, but after putting his all into many low budget indie films, I think he earned that right.

Someone I know said pretty much the same thing last night. I think I've only seen most of JD's later work and I don't know if I can forgive him for POC 4? 5?

Drive
Ryan Gosling does quiet and moody really well. And who would have thought Carey Mulligan used to do stuff like Dr Who and Austin costume dramas

Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) - IMDb
once in awhile a movie comes along and blows me away(Pan's Labyrinth) this was one of them. its a gritty poverty fantasy and filled with non-actors. little Quvenzhané Wallis will be a force to reckon with in the future. she is composed well beyond her age. should garner a best picture and actor nomination

I've been bouncing around the idea of seeing that movie, OBB.
Currently watching Ruby Sparks. It's quirky and reminds me a bit of Stranger than Fiction which I absolutely love.
I also saw Django a few nights ago. It was okay, and a bit too long. Some scenes were too much for me but I thought Christophe Waltz gave an inspired performance, I think he may become one of my fav actors yet.
To this point, Kill Bill is still my fav QT movie.

Watching some of what has become the usual crap on HGTV. I've never known there were this many snobby, fussy, entitled people in the world.

Some roles do make you say, What?
Okay, I am going to try re watching Pretty Little Liars. Thanks to my cold meds, I drifted off a few times while watching it last night.

Stargazing on the BBC. Yesterday I saw just how big the Curiosity Rover is. I didn't realise. And today a presenter has just asked a kid if he knows who discovered Uranus. The child in me laughed.

I finished up a couple ep's of TVD, Revolution, and Once Upon A Time. Now I am (maybe) ready to watch a documentary called Queen of Versailles. I have a feeling it will cause excessive eye rolling and an urge to hurl at the 'well la-de-da' of it all.
Okay, seriously, why does anyone need a house with 31 bathrooms and 10 kitchens? Apparently the house with 17 baths was too small.

So for the past few weeks I've been seeing mentions online about reality show that had celebrities learning to dive. I never read too closely, and considering the sites in questions, I assumed this diving show was an elaborate meme.
You guys, it's real, and I'm watching it now. I'm horrified that this exists.
