Embarrassing Fat Bodies.
A man on it has lost over 25 stone (about 350 lbs) by himself. No bariatric surgery at all. Amazing.

Terra Nova. It seems to be a cross between Stargate and Jurassic Park

Last nite was Savages. I tried to like it. I love Travolta (wasted in this movie) and I like some of the other actors (not Blake Lively). And I like action and beach scenery and chase scenes and explosions. But I disliked this movie. And it was way too long.
Today is catching up on the last few days - Eastenders, Last Man Standing, Suburgatory, The Middle, The Neighbors, Modern Family, Big Bang, American Horror Story, Scandal, Person of Interest, Fringe.

It is a guys movie. The concept was interesting, and it was shirtless Christian Bale with another Sean Bean dies moment. That's enough for me.
I love the gun kata.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

i do too!
I actually wondered how much of that training factored into his being cast as Bruce Wayne, because we know Batman loves his martial arts.
When the movie started I went "oh, that guy from Prison Break (I actually think I glimpsed another one from PB in there too). Did you hear about the petition to stop killing Sean Bean?

^ Every time I see Borimir/Sean Bean die I bawl my head off. That is such a heartbreaking death scene. For us LOTR nerds anyway.
I will have to put Equilibrium on my list.

I love the way his death was handled by his father. The role of the grieving father driven to madness was perfectly executed.

Poor Sean Bean. Always dying
I wondered about Batman casting from that, too. His high strung voice even sounded like proto-Batman.
Emily Watson's role was well played. I have the DVD, and the commentary is interesting. I don't think I'd've liked the movie as much without it.
You can essentially 'see' this movie in 6 minutes. The video editing to the song (a group I love, but the song is independent of the movie) is quite good.
