It was! I was squicked out and also admiring the hotness.
The book is even more creepy.

Parts where perfectly done. It was a good movie.
I have not read American Psycho, but I have read The Rules of Attraction, which is also by Bret Easton Ellis, and was made into a movie. I love that members of the same family are in the books. Drug dealer Sean Bateman, played by James van der Beek in the movie, in Patrick Bateman's little brother.

Seriously, the part in the raincoat kind of stays in your mind forever. The way he talks and moves. So so creepy.
That is cool about the books/movies having related characters.

It does. Newspaper taped to the floor, the way he walks & talks, "Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?", the odd dancing, and "Is that a rain coat?" "Why yes! Yes it is"!
Cray-Z!

The Bateman connection is interesting. Both brothers have more than their fair share of issues. :-/
I am going to attempt watching Hart of Dixie, for the 3rd time. I have been so exhausted and I keep falling out about 20 minutes in.

hahahahh I watched it once...a marathon. I don't know why! It's really dumb....but I couldn't stop. I like watching the kids dance, they're really good, because I've always wanted to dance and never got to. I'll probably be a dance mom.
I do that too with exercise videos.

I do that with exercise DVD's, too. I am so incredibly uncoordinated I have to watch it first to get a feel for what they're expecting me to do. Plus it's easier for me to roll my eyes and say "yeah, RIGHT. Ain't nobody got time for that" when they do something ridiculous.
If you like the yoga dvd would you mind sharing which one it is? I've been thinking about getting one.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

^ To make a short story long - I took yoga years ago and really disliked it. The instructor was a very serious yoga person, really into it and I just hated it. That was about 20 years ago. Then during the fitness challenge I watched my trainer there teach a class to see if I would try it again. No go.
Then a couple weeks ago my trainer at my current gym said I should try her yoga class since I was saying I don't stretch enough. And I gave her the whole 'I don't like it' story. And she said her class is nothing like that. So I went the last 2 weeks and I really enjoyed it. No making ohm noises, no meditating for long periods of time. I call it yoga light (or fat free yogurt).
So I was telling a friend that whole boring story and she said I would probably like this DVD - Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss by Suzanne Deason. And she was right. Beautiful scenery, soothing instructions, 4 different instructors depending on your fitness level. I think I will really like it.
I got the deluxe edition on ebay for $6, which came with a little booklet that I promptly lost so I have no idea if it was useful or not.
Aren't you glad you asked that question? : )

The Hobbit. My son has been terrified of Gollum for years, and he finally decided to overcome his fear and go today. He loved it!
