That looks good and disturbing and is going on my list! Did you see the original or the remake?

There is a remake? (googled it and now I am interested).
I watched the 1931 version and Peter Lorre was made for that role.
So good.

Season of the Witch. Not what I'd call good but decent entertainment for 1.5 hours.
Dear Mr. Gacy. Very good. Disturbing, but good.

Up next, "M!"
I really should buy that DVD. That and "Night of the Hunter."

Let The Right One In (the original Swedish version of Let Me In). The kids in both movies are so good. And such a sad story.

Just watched both versions of "M" and liked them both. Peter Lorre is so creepy, but I like David Wayne in the role also. I like the camera work in the 1951 better but I enjoyed hearing the 1931 film in German. It just added to the dark, scary atmosphere.

I tend to get a little OCD with my movies. I'm watching Starman on Nextflix for the umpteenth time. The soundtrack is good but they play that theme song with every love scene and it's starting to get to me so I may be moving on soon.

I was on a mystery kick last night
The Oxford Murders. I liked it. It's really heavy in math and philosophy if you're not into that you probably wouldn't like it.
Vanishing on 7th street. meh. It's a true mystery, meaning they never give you any answers, and it's too implausible to be thought provoking. They never give you enough information to guess what's happening to everyone, and the scenario is too hopeless. There's no way you could put yourself in their shoes and imagine a survival plan. They made everything unreliable, logic and physics do not exist anymore. Not that you'd want to put yourself in the character's shoes, because they're not admirable people.

Cloverfield. It's making feel a bit sick. I am also scared. And I need to get a video camera in case something like this (or riots) does happen so I can record it.
