Watched the pilot episode of Longmire today. I think I will like the series. Also watched the first 2 episodes of The Returned. What a creepy, scary, interesting series. And a few people with curly hair, too.

I just turned on the tv and The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio is on. I adore this movie. It is based on a true story (and book), and set in the 50's when contesting was huge. A woman with an alcoholic husband who blows most of his paycheck on booze, and 10 children, supports her family by writing jingles or adds for new products.

It is a sad movie, but also a very sweet and good movie. It was one of the 10 children who wrote her mothers story, which makes it a little sweeter.

Hot in Cleveland was live this week. Laughed out loud. Betty White's flubbed line. Shirley Jones and William Shatner. Need I say more. Great episode.

Still working my way through The Returned. I love it so much. It has subtitles so I have to really pay attention. No messing about with facebook or NC while watching it. : )

Gangster Squad.

Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and Sean Penn, Emma Stone and Nick Nolte. It should be pretty good. Critics seemed to hate it, but your average viewers gave it better ratings. We shall see.

ETA: Last night I watched Dark Skies and Warm Bodies. Both were better than I expected them to be. Warm Bodies was rather quirky and adorable.

Catching up on Mad Men

2012 Documentary about Ms. Monroe titled: Love, Marilyn. I'm recording it, and listening as I clean. It's pretty good.

If it's true that she was blamed for a failing picture, when in reality some men had gambled away the studio's money, and sent into psychotherapy and institutions after that... Ugh! I feel for her. I don't doubt she had problems, but that would make anyone snap.

I am finishing up last nights Mad Men and I might watch Under The Dome on CBS at 10, or I might DVR it and go to bed. It's a show based on a Stephen King novel published in 09 that he attempted to write twice in the 70's and 80's. It might be promising.

The Killing (still a favorite), True Blood (I've pretty much lost interest in this but there are still some amusing lines "They attacked a Chuck E Cheese yesterday".)

Singles. Love this movie.

Warehouse 13 (I hope this is the last season for this. I loved it but it has worn itself out. Time to end it.), The Glades (annoying characters but I still like it for some reason. Mostly because of yummy Carlos Gomez), Extreme Makeover Weight Loss edition (really good episode this week and interesting).

Working my way through Fringe on Netflix. I'm wondering how I possibly missed watching this when it was on TV. Really loving it.

Jeepy, how dare you! I am loving this season so far, but I am excited by the person Sook & Jason just met and the possibility of a couple things from the book happening. It all depends...

I am watching Da Vinci's Demons.

I loved Fringe! I agree about WH13. I'm not happy about the latest personal subplot either. I think WH13 was at its best as a lighthearted sci fi adventure romp.
