I watched The Call today, and was actually impressed. I thought the majority of it was incredibly good, and pretty true to form when it comes to the in's and outs of 911 dispatching. It's a different ball game in a small center. You have no supervisors walking around, or luxuries of a larger center, but the basics and computer programs were right on. *It was full of suspense, and I was yelling for her to do everything before she did it. Lol

As I expected, it got a little silly during the last 20 minutes or so, but I did understand the "fantasy" element of that.

About to watch tonite's episode of The Dead Files. It's on a local hotel that we stay at a few times a year. The Riverside Inn. Great old place that is supposedly haunted.

One of my oldest friends worked on the first season of The Dead Files. It's a pretty good show. I like the medium/police investigator partnership. I tried to scout a local location for her, but the road to the house had been blocked with piles of brush on end to keep people out.

Any the who, she told me the medium on that show is 252% legit. She would not have believed it herself, had she not spent time her. My friend was promoted after that and no longer works so on hands in shows.

*************

I am watching Practical Magic. I was just thinking about this movie yesterday. Wooooweeeooooh. Lol

^ I enjoyed the show very much! They are both really cool people and yes it is an interesting partnership. The show was beautifully filmed (especially for one of these paranormal type shows).

^ It is good. I have last nights episode recorded. I will have to watch it soon.

Right now I am watching Hello Herman. It has not been released yet (is either not in theaters or in limited numbers of theaters at the moment), but Amazon has a special rental of it. It stars Norman Reedus. It has great reviews so far, though the majority agree it is disturbing, unsettling and unnerving. It is about bullying and resulting violence in schools.

In Cambridge Springs? Now you tell me. I stayed there a few years ago. If I had known it was haunted, I probably would have rethought that decision!!!!!

Oh my gosh we have been staying there for years, all times of year, but especially in summer to sit by their nice pool. We could have been there at the same time!
It is a super creepy place at night. We have wandered pretty much every inch of the place. The back hallways and the rooms under the theatre are really creepy.

Watched 2 more shows on my area in the last couple days. This one is about the first Amish person every charged with murder. Lives just a few miles from where I used to live. Deadly Devotion: Paranoid and Violent : Video : Investigation Discovery
And this one is about one of my very best friends as an adult. We lived next door to each other and were very close. She moved after about 7-8 years (this was in the late 70's -80's) and then things got real weird with her life. She just got out of prison this year. Most Likely To...: Health Club Hook Up : Video : Investigation Discovery

Now I'm watching the last episode of season 1 of The Returned. I just love it and don't want to wait a whole year for Season 2!
All caught up on Eastenders and everything else. Can't wait for Dexter tonite!!!!

The last time we stayed there it was a gorgeous summer day. We were sitting on the porch watching a wedding outside on the grounds just below us. The bridal party entered looking beautiful, then the bride and her father. They no sooner started the ceremony and there was some kind of parade in Cambridge Springs that day. The fire sirens started and blared throughout the whole ceremony. I felt so bad for the bride. OK, sorry to go off topic.

Tonite I will watch True Blood and the first episode of Ray Donovan. Looks like it might be good.

i am watching the Canada Day noon show from Parliament Hill waiting for Commander Hadfield to sing Space Oddity with the Trent Severn Band. at the moment, i am suffering through Carly Rae Jepsen and i turned the sound off when the Prime Minister made his speech.

i shouldn't be watching this - it makes me homesick for Ottawa.

Ray Donovan is an intense show! Liked it tho. Liev Schreiber is yummy. And Jon Voight aint so bad either.

I'm a junkie! I just got back into Breaking Bad and I am completely submerged in season 3. I love that Giancarlo Esposito (from Revolution) is in it. He is such an amazing actor, and fantastic opposite Brian. They are two seemingly well put together men, standing the edge.

I dvr'ed Siberia and watched it today. Someone explain it to me, please. Is it a reality show or is it a weekly drama about a reality show? It is kind of far fetched so I am assuming it is a drama about a reality show.

Update. . . I just googled it and discovered it is a drama series described as Lost meets Survivor. Now I am hooked on 2 shows at 10 pm on Mondays, this and Under the Dome. Thank heavens for DVR's!!

^ I remember hearing about that show. I loved Lost, but the Survivor part made me lose interest

I am halfway watching Twisted, but I am too tired. I need to watch the back of my eyelids.

Sup, Yo? I'm Breaking Bad again. Almost on S4. I'm sad that this and Dexter are ending. 2 good, pull for the bad guy, shows.
