I just stared project runway. I'm going to listen to the challenge, and let it continue to play as I shower. Blah, blah, drama, somebody is crying and throwing mannequins, snore. Just show me the clothes!!
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Forks over knives.
Very interesting. Now I'm researching.

Very good doc. Great recipes on their cookbook and on webpage and FB. Also check out Engine 2 diet and FB page and Happy Herbivore. I haven't managed to go whole hog but love their recipes and learned a lot. I know I will totally go plant strong one day.

Last night sister and I watched Burnt Offerings, a quite horrid 70's horror movie, but fun.
Right now I'm on episode 2 of Broadchurch. I'm addicted already.

True Blood. Jason is feeling fine. Haha.

True Blood. It was a pretty useless episode but the funeral was sad.

And I have to add that I hate the current trend of false eyelashes for everyone on tv and movies. They usually look ridiculous. The only person who looks good in them is Lafayette. : )

just finished all of Star Trek DS9
I'm sad Odo left, but I never really liked the Kira/Odo love story (I never bought that she loved him too)
I'm sad Sisko is with the prophets
I never really liked him with Cassidy (quite possibly because that actress was a horrible mean person on 24)

I love Longmire, too. I'm not a fan of his daughter, though...

I just started watching Bones on Netflix.

Do you know how excited I am? I am so excited. I have been thinking about a movie my elementary school art teacher showed us (4th-8th grade), several times a year, for around 25 years. It was originally shown on a reel to reel projector, but we wore that out quickly with many requests for encores. He eventually switched to VHS. I decided to look on Amazon Instant Video and found it a available for purchase It being the 1956 French Classic Le Ballon Rouge or The Red Balloon. Heart palpitations!! I can not wait to watch it. It is the perfect glimpse into childhood individualism (a gen X staple) and imagination and also showed some of life's harder lessons. I swear... Once you see this 30 min short, it never leaves you.

If I can stay awake, I might watch Mud with Matthew McConaughey next. I saw that it was getting fantastic reviews and my nephew called to tell me I have to watch it. He said it's Stand By Me good. I made sure he and his brother watched SBM when they were 12 (same age I was when I first saw it) so it was kind of sweet that he thought of me. Awww and all that.
