What are you watching now?

My mom loves Lark Rises. She watches it, Downton, and some show about a priest. I think she could live on PBS and BBC alone.

I have noticed several BBC/BBC 2 shows on Hulu. I have enjoyed some oddball sarcastic comedies, but who knows. I have been hearing Hulu was going out of business for 3 years now. I only use it because I can use gift cards. Still have satellite so I get my main use from that, and go months w/o even looking at Hulu. Not worth a subscription.

Eventually, I think some of those sites will get just as expensive as cable. Most have plans to massively expand.

^ Youtube has tons of BBC shows, old and new. That's where I watch all of mine.

Right now it's Undercover Boss then I have to wait for Thursday night's shows to start.

^ I've got to watch the last 2 in a bit. I only caught parts of last weeks.

Part of the Winter Olympics opening. I have to see this with my own eyes. t.A.T.u, the possibly faux lesbian group created and marketed by a former Russian child psychologist with the intent to entice those with an underage porn fetish can preform BUT if you are gay you better hide.

What a tangled web we weave...

PS- Do you know how much some of the kids annoyed me after that song came out? Temporarily bi for a year or so because it was fashionable.

Having quit "Prince Avalanche" despite the paralysis of boredom, it is now: "Teen Wolf."

I watched Nashville and was getting ready to clear another show off the DVR when I got sucked into a repeat of Honey Boo Boo. Kids today worry me. Crying and screaming when they have to leave their phones and tablets at home and having a complete nervous breakdown the whole time they are without it. I sincerely think if they would have checked ones blood pressure, she would have needed to go to the ER. I have never seen someone remain that shade of red for so long. No cells in my childhood years. It was the home phone or tv for me, and I had to leave both at the house. 3 days should be a cake walk.

Finished the first 3 episodes of Black Sails. Still interested enough to keep going. I love the costumes and ships and scenery. And I love the opening credits (not that that makes me watch a show but it doesn't hurt!).
Now on to a few episodes of Comedians Getting Coffee in Cars.

Finished Season 2 and am up to date on Season 3 of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. Some of the episodes were really good, especially Louis CK, Don Rickles, Mel Brooks, Chris Rock, Brian Regan, Alec Baldwin. And Howard Stern always has great hair. Fun show.

The Counselor. I have been waiting to see this Ridley Scott movie. It has gotten several bad reviews and some very good ones from those who are fans of Scott's work and familiar with his type of films *stupid phone* or McCarthy's writing (never expect a happy or complete ending). I normally like them and with Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz... I will have to judge for myself.

ETA: I see where some might dislike this film. It is very heavy on the dialogue. I love Shakespeare so that has never bothered me. This is a much darker tale, and they cut out several non essential bits of the plot, but I liked it. I would nit mind watching it again at some point.
