I liked Divergent but loved the book.
Loved reading hunger games (but the second book wasn't great, as a whole I loved it). Liked the movies thus far.

I was glad the second HG movie lacked the Cloverfield camera work. I think it is one of the main reasons why I liked it more. I was thoroughly annoyed with the earthquake camera every time things got hairy.

Divergent was more straight forward in it's filming approach which I appreciated. I.... Will stop there because I don't want to spoil it
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Divergent.

While there is something freaky about a Dystopian Society where they offer sacrifices in the form of games, there is definitely something more freaky about one where you are expected to pick a clique and stay there.

Which lunch table will you eternally sit at?

That is something that gets people. I usually understand that adapting a novel or book series into 2 hours, or 2 hour sections, is incredibly hard. You sometimes have to cut out a lot and re write scenes to get the same point across on screen and have it flow well. It does not take away from the book. It's still there for you to read at anytime. It's just an alternate version. I get why they make changes when books are adapted for weekly television series too. No matter how much a person may love the books or long to see one of their favorite parts brought to life (we all have those), do you really want to know everything that is coming week after week? It doesn't stay fresh that way.

^ Loved that!

Finishing up 22 Jump Street. Not as laugh out loud funny as the first one but still good. I am not a big fan of Channing Tatum but he has the best laugh and he does the silliest things.

^ I am not a huge CT fan either. I really don't think he has acting talent. He was cast in some dance films because he is not a horrible dancer and he has a good body. It went from there. Not the happiest about him being cast as Gambit in X Men. I know people threw fits about Taylor Kitsch playing Gambit but I would rather have him than Channing Tatum. Gambit is a very physical character, which he will be able to pull off, but all will be ruined when he opens his mouth.

Amanda whats her face is his counter part in that age group. Little Wooden Girl. Cute as a button, but no.

I am getting ready to watch Outlander.

I share a brain with whoever wrote this...

http://m.hitfix.com/comedy/is-fox-in...channing-tatum

Channing is better suited for the meat head or dudebro and Gambit is anything but. He is a panty dropper. Okay, and it's not huge muscles that does the trick. He is the anti hero, and I traditionally have a great love for the anti hero. Her list consists of Ian Somerhalder, Hugh Dancey, Tom Mison (Ichabod Crane), as she so eloquently puts it- Alexander Skarsgard aka Eric the living embodiment of sex Northman. Right on!! And my other favorite anti hero... Sawyer, Josh Holloway. Ooooooh.

Though I am still not sure if anti hero is the best term for these characters. Widely misunderstood. The one most men start out hating, and women love. The men eventually realize why.

^ Seriously though, when I think anti-hero I think Dexter, Walter White, Tony Soprano... As opposed to strict AH, I think some of these are perpetually misunderstood yet not even remotely lacking in confidence. It's the shaky moral ground that gets them thrown in but who is moral on True Blood, aside from Hoyt? It's vampires. They're not exactly supposed to be and Eric ended up being 12x better than you know who. Sawyer... Who witnesses a murder/suicide involving your parents as a child and turns out perfect? It's always the 'seen as less intelligent/lacking heroic qualities' part of the trope gets me. Often they are the most intelligent, not lacking in bravery, maybe not polished and just not historically best decision makers at times.

I have been listening to music but am now watching The Leftovers while getting ready.
