Oh I still miss Firefly. Good show.

Chef. What a nice movie. Great cast, food, and Jon Favreau. What's not to like. Very enjoyable.

I've been gone for a few days with no tv or internet (what a great thing that is. really.) so time to catch up on tv. The rest of the evening will be filled with EastEnders, True Blood, The Leftovers, The Strain, Outlander.

When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I try to watch shows when I am on days but it never works out so Outlander is back on my list. After that I will probably play Skyrim for a bit. I have not played in a few days and it will help me turn around for night shifts

How was Outlander premier? Making my way through the fist season if Bones.

I only saw the first 20 minutes, which I enjoyed. I tend to get a case of the wandering brain after working 12 hours, so I can't tell you past that. Not yet, anyway.

I'll let you know in a bit. I know I identified with some of the random opening lines about that point in your life when you realize you've never owned a vase, and you want nothing more in that moment.

The first episode of Outlander was good. It had a nice balance between the... Times. I like the way it was set up and character history/information was given. It flowed really well.

I read it provided the highest ratings boost for Starz to date. 3.some million viewers, and to be based on popular romance novels, it had a surprisingly high male viewing audience.

I would love to be playing my game or watching Under the Dome but thanks to storms I can not do either at the moment. I am going to try it one more time in the next 30 minutes.

@Fifi.G YES! That first episode was really great. Nice pacing, didn't rush into anything too much and really set up the story nicely. Characters were also fantastically fleshed-out and likeable.

as someone who has loved the Outlander series for about 20 years, the books are REALLY worth the read (I feel this way particularly about the first 3 - then I started to get tired of them. that said, I've read them all more than once (except the most recent one, that one has not been read yet)).

ps - I do not have Starz and it's breaking my heart that I haven't seen this yet!! (I am planning on camping out at my mom's next weekend to watch what I've missed thus far)

They mentioned some other sites, but I can't remember what.

I will absolutely put the books on my list for a later date

Divergent. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next one. They stole a few things from Hunger Games (using the bird as a symbol, etc) but still think I liked Divergent better. It was more beautiful to look at. It was weird hearing Kate Winslet without an accent tho.

Well, I finally got my hands on a copy of "Locke" but then I received an email from a new client who wants to talk right when I'd be watching it, so I'm having to hold my horses which I do not like. And the horses don't like it either!
