I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Finished ROOTS.

AMAZING! I get the groundbreakingness of it.

But I don't get why LaVar Burton just plays Kunte Kinte as a young man and then an actor who looks nothing like him takes over "ten years later" and yet Ben Vereen then comes-in (as his grandson) and ages from, like, 18 to 80 and they keep Ben for the entire time.

Not complianing because I love Ben Vereen! Just thought it was weird. They could have aged LaVar, too.
The Harry Potter movies. I just finished HBP. I had watched the first three when they came out, but then never got around to watching the rest. I've read the books, but that was a few years ago, so watching the movies now I have no idea how much they differ from the books.

Now into Season 3 of Merlin. One bad thing about watching so many episodes in a row is that even someone liek me wo doesn't really pay attention and who has a bad memory picks up on the stupid mistakes they make - like the knight who died a couple episodes just showed up again like he was never gone. and unrelated characters are seen on the same horse. But I still love the show.

And Gwenivere has pretty 3b hair.

Just put in Monsters

Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

Birdsong.

Wonderful story but very sad. Lions led by donkeys.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Moneyball. I liked it.

I just watched the new Conan the Barbarian. My thoughts, kinda mixed. There were things I liked, and things I hated.
Undercover boss. Which I think is appropriate since I'm watching it at work. : )

Sherlock Holmes 2. Entertaining like the first one, nothing real exciting but I like the slo-mo stop action filming, the humor, and was thrilled to see Noomi Rapace in the movie.

Right now I'm watching Mad Hungry, quickly becoming a favorite cooking show.

Last night I couldn't sleep and I watched two episodes of My 600 Pound Life and an episode of Hoarders on TLC and wow, just wow. Some people are so tortured.
