Frenzy.
No matter how many times I see a Hitchcock film I forget, ignoring the terrible acting, how amazing they can be. How did he manage such interesting camera work, nudity, horror, disturbing images and topics, misogynistic leanings, and great comedy into one movie?

Isn't the tracking shot down the stairs one of the most brilliant thing you've ever seen?

That movie was.....interesting. Don't think it's a Hitchcock I will be revisiting anytime soon.

I LOVED that part on the stairs! Also the dinners with the police inspector and his wife. Genius.

But, but he directed Night of the Hunter. Did you finish Guys and Dolls? It's so long Gonna start it tomorrow and go from there.

ETA:
I am on my way to watch The Dark Knight.

I know! I read about that last night. The description sounded so creepy, though......and since Robert Mitchum already makes me anxious, I'm afraid I'll have bad dreams.

Yes, I'm chicken.

And yes, I finished Guys & Dolls. I'm trying hard not to think about handsome Marlon Brando dancing, in a suit. Yu-hum-hum.

Love the silly sexual double-entendres throughout. Still, glad I live now, and not then. Don't especially want to be a "doll."

Oh, and the poodle guy is my favorite.

Watched Hatchet II last nite with my friend and his 12 year old son. Your typical blood and guts movie with bad acting and unneeded nudity. But the methods of killing were especially imaginative (and super bloody) so we all enjoyed it. : )

Guys and Dolls- Disc 1. Will post my review in Movies. Meaning, I don't know how I feel about it quite yet.

That is awesome. I was wondering what it would be like to see the stage play.

We really enjoyed it too. But SO and I are famous among our friends and family for watching terrible horror movies We love them.

Watched Insidious the other night and it was better than I expected it to be. The rum I was drinking along with it could've helped though.

We're watching Boston Legal season 1 in between movies and we're really loving it. I am Denny Crane
