Thanks Springy. I will rent it again on my next days off, and make sure I watch it this time.

I'm probably the only one who does this (a case of old age crankiness) but I will almost never watch a movie if I hate the title. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is one of them. Gosh I hate that title.

Made of Honour. The gold-digger scene is hilarious.

I'm catching up on Pretty Little Liars before my Sunday shows start. True Blood at 9 and I'm going to watch the premier of Coppers on BBC America at 10. New show about Irish Immigrants/Police officers in NYC, during the civil war. Might be a Gangs of NY type of series.

I saw a preview for Copper and thought it looked pretty interesting, and I don't normally enjoy shows like that a whole lot. Report back on what you think!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I didn't get to really focus on all of it. I was getting stuff ready for work, but what I saw was good. I'll give you the full scoop when I re watch tomorrow.

I just did a quick look-see and Copper will be available on our On Demand so we'll definitely watch it this week some time. Still want to hear your thoughts on it though.

Tuya's Marriage

Storyline: Tuya is the persevering wife of Bater, a herdsman who lost his legs exploring water in the Neimenggu (Inner Mongolia) grassland that is fast vanishing as a result of desertification. She takes up the sole responsibility to make a living for the family, but develops a dislocated lumbar from her hard labor and risks paralysis herself. Faced with harsh reality, the couple decide to divorce so that Tuya can seek a better life. Imposing her own conditions of a remarriage - her new husband must take care of Bater, their children and their poor herding land, the strong-minded, stubborn, but also gentle, susceptible Tuya embarks on an arduous search for a new husband, and meets suiters who are rich but disingenuous, likable but shy, and saves a suicidal Bater who still longs for Tuya and their children along the way.

loved the movie

Biggest Loser USA.

I don't agree with the way the contestants lose weight but it is strangely addicting. Two contestants are going to win a car this series. Wouldn't it be better if they won bikes?

True Blood - pretty good this week
Falling Skies - OK, it's sort of the end of the world, the aliens have taken over, you're a little rag tag bunch of humans trying to fight back. You're a doctor. You are really needed. Why why why are you stupid enough to get pregnant? I hate these story lines.

At the rate I am going you might get to see it before I do. I keep starting it, and remembering that I have several other things that must be done before bed. I am at least watching the first 30 min. of it tonight. I hope.
