I love the house! Pretty! And how cool is that that your neighbor is from back home. LOL

Sending healing puppy vibes to Calvin!

Woohoo on getting your things even earlier! Wow! Lucky you! Ours always took so long........ but then again we were always moving back and forth overseas each time.

Great house!! I will be in Alameda on the 4th for a bbq, I will do a drive by stalking!

Actually, if you don't have plans for the 4th, I will just pick you up and you can go to the bbq with us!

Holy cow, y'all.

I came across this thread after I did a search looking for a thread about something else and it was so weird/fun/crazy to read back over it. It makes me realize I should take up journaling or something because there was so much I forgot about and it was wonderful to read back over and be reminded. Although journaling wouldn't have the best aspect of this thread which would be the interaction I had with all of you who posted on it.

Next month we've been here a year and I can't even believe it. Three more years to go!

OMG, NO! A whole year has (almost) gone by and we still haven't met in person?!?! We'll have to do something about that --- soon!

So what are your thoughts after living in the house, city, state for a year?

I know, right? A whole year you'd think we could have gotten together by now!! What the heck!? Time just goes by so fast, it's unreal.

I love the weather here, it can't be beat. There's lots to do and the scenery is really pretty. I really wish we'd get out and explore a little more, but it seems the weekends roll around and it goes by so fast we don't get out and do enough (doesn't help we're both naturally prone to being hermits!). Hopefully we can remedy that now that the days are longer and the weather is perfect.

Our neighbors and landlord still continue to be incredibly wonderful and we haven't had one problem with the house. It's really comfortable and the space is just right for us and all our junk.

What I find funny is I mentioned how Mr. Spring was talking about a motorcycle and now he has one. That spoiled stinker always gets his way.

The main drawback is the distance from our family.
