Default Literally Unbelievable

So apparently there are quite a few people who think that the Onion is real. These people are kind enough to bring joy/despair to the world by posting their outrage on facebook.

Literally Unbelievable

It's like how when I was 10 I couldn't tell if the colbert report was real or fake... But then again, I was ten. These people, I'm guessing, aren't. Lol.

My favorite onion story was about a doggie who was embarassed in front of all his friends by his human daddy because he yelled at him. he was so devastated he can never go to the dog park again. eveyone other human parent felt bad for the doggie and thought he should be taken away and given to better parents

Lol! OH my. Also, I noticed that many of the people commenting on the Facebook posts don't understand the use of quotation marks around words. I mean, even in the one you posted... What was the point of using them in that way?!

Sometimes I think it veers closer to truth than people realize.

(But not about the stuff posted above.)

How awesome would it be if it were true?

Oh, yeah, definitely. They have an excellent sense of the various types of personalities in this country.

This one isn't political, but I remember one instance where they wrote an article about Gillette making a 5-blade razor, back when 3-blades were the latest craze. It was hilarious. And like a year later, Gillette really did come out with 5 blades.

ETA: Here it is!
