I have the most awesome boss and supervising attorneys EVER - I am so lucky that I get to work at home for 2 days a week and BF and not pump or worry about how much my baby is (not) eating, and it has actually been working so far, and even this hellish on call weekend isn't so bad knowing I will have a couple of days at home in the coming week - what did I do to deserve this?

I was able to see my Grandpa celebrate his 105th birthday in good health with his family, and at his church and his home. That means so much to him!
We are closing on a house in DC in the next week and we found a trusted renter for our current house in MD, without having to go through listing and searching for a tenant. Our new house is within a two mile radius of my office, Dia's middle school, and our church. Once DaNa's office moves to its new location, he will also be a straight shot and about 15 minutes from his office.
I am constantly amazed by the talented people I am blessed to work with!
My participation in an online forum led me to talented twin teenagers who've begun writing and illustrating children's poems for the new curriculum we're creating. Their work is fantastic and their mom is so sweet/responsive - she's even referring us to other people now! We have been getting some really great work back from everyone, but it's so awesome how blessings can come from unlikely places!

We finally got a good rain last night. I never complain of dry weather but the plants and trees were suffering so I am glad for the rain.
The birds are active today and entertaining me as I look out the back door.
I should be able to pick up my new couch and chair in the next day or 2 so I'll have a place to sit again!

We're getting to see how lots of rain affects our place. Puddles all over the driveways, but the arena is useable and no problems for the horses in their runs.
I'm ready for the sun to return anyway!

At Rehoboth Beach and the breeze really helps with this 100 degree weather! Dia is excited for a week at Washington College for camp this week. Mom and Dad are also excited  .

Witnessed the coolest thing this morning. Sunday brunch on the back lawn with the whole family. We have several hummingbird feeders but this one baby bird was terribly curious about my dad he was hovering literally inches from his face just watching my dad! Lol such a friendly little bird

That is so cute! I used to have a hibiscus bush that was in front of my living room window. A hummingbird would come to it at almost the same time everyday. I would usually go to the window and watch it and it would often look in the window at me, hover for a few seconds and then go back to feeding. So cute!!!!!!

Weather is going to be perfect so I took tomorrow and wednesday off and heading up to Lake Erie to the beach. Staying at a little place with a pool so me and my guy will spend one day on the lake and one at the pool. Laying around in the sun, reading, napping, going for sushi, maybe a little shopping. Yay!

No way is she in middle school already! I still think of her like your avatar!
Those are all awesome things - I especially like the 105 year old grandpa, but they're all great!
Mine: baby is starting to take the bottle when I'm at work - he'll drink 4 oz or so in a day which is not enough but better than nothing and sets my mind at ease.

I feel so honored to be a happy thing example! Puppies and rainbows indeed, I love our new place and feel so incredibly fortunate that we stumbled upon it. 
My husband had this several years back so I can identify a little bit with what a great feeling this must have been! I'll certainly never forget it happening to him. He was underway on a ship (he's in the Coast Guard) and the medical person onboard had no idea what was going on. Thank goodness for the internet; he emailed me that something was going on and with his symptoms I was able to google and find out what it was and email him back the information to show the medical person. Thankfully they flew him home for treatment and he recovered.
I have SO much to be thankful for, but I'm going to pick one extremely vain thing right now. During our month long journey of moving/living in a hotel/house searching/eating out every day I worked out exactly ZERO times and ate things that were heavenly/horrid AND wore cotton pants/capris 80% of the time and I lost two pounds. How the hell does that happen?? I have no idea, but I won't question such a blessing.  Stretchy yoga pants are not all bad, ok people?
Reading through this thread put a big ole' smile on my face to see good things happening to such wonderful people.

OK I'm so excited I am in my office with the door closed trying not to bounce off the walls.... my boss just asked me to go to the COURT OF APPEAL with him NEXT WEEK... and to do the opening statement! So I am officially the first person in my class to do that! And I'm terrified! And I have a lot of work to do!
