I got off of work early today so I now have the time I need to flat twist my hair(small flat twists). Oh, and watch some movies too.

It's bright, warm, golden, sunshine out today. The streets have been washed clean by all the rain. It looks so pretty outside and Irene is gone!!! I can go out for the first time in 2 days.

I bought some broccoli slaw, which I love.
And I met many, many, many comely canines at a charity event on Saturday.

I got a compliment this morning (I think it was more for my skirt than for me though).

I did not lose my power so I did not have to try and run the generator. Dodged that bullet.

I just discovered Chai tea and I really like it! I got Tazo decaffeinated Chai tea and I never would have known it was decaf. Rich and flavorful. I'm going to have some every day. Gotta go get another cup. So good!

I ranked #2 on a test I took for a job with the county! I've been trying to get into a county job for a few years and you have to place 3rd to be guaranteed an interview. I always place at least 6th, but I think this may be the best I've done. Now I wait to hear about scheduling my interview...fingers crossed!
