Rappers emulating the "style" of inmates, who weren't allowed to wear belts.

Yep! And the ones who wore there pants the lowest, were looking for protection and was willing to give up their man hood.

Which confuses me, why dudes walk around like that in public. Are you looking for protection??

This thread is hilarious! I can agree with so many of these but a couple more it'd mine are one word texts. I ask you a question that would generate a conversation and all you give me is one word? I usually don't respond after that. Another one is people who turn in front of you in traffic but then proceed to go super slow. Ugh.

Also, in jail/prison inmates aren't allowed belts and shoelaces because they could use those to kill themselves, other inmates or deputies/guards. Why even want to be associated with prison at all is beyond me. I just don't get it.

Ooo I hate when someone texts me and then texts me again 5-10 minutes later saying "hey did you get my text" or "o so you're actin funny now?" Maybe I wasn't near my phone or I was doing something at that moment when you texted me. Just slow down please.

some of my peeves are..

When my mom sings out of key over the music in the car, early in the morning on the way to school.

When people walk slow in front of me.

When people tell me random shxt I don't care about.

When people chew anything crunchy really loud, or slurp.

When people aggravate me when they know I'm not in the mood...

When food taste refrigerated.

And oh...when people tell the movie because they've seen it a gizillon times

Whenever I see recipes that instruct for onions to be "caramelized" in ten minutes or so. Recipe writers, learn the difference between browned onions and caramelized onions, please. They are not the same thing. Browned onions are crunchier and not nearly as complex in flavor. They can be done very quickly. Caramelized onions take from 30 minutes to hours depending on quantity. The onions are completely tender and very sweet. Even using tricks to cut down the time, they cannot be made in the same amount of time as browned onions. They are what you use to make French onion soup, or an onion tart. This kind of confusion is what would lead someone to make crappy French onion soup.

Quickbreads (muffins, banana bread) are made with the blending method. Once you cream, you're in cake land. Different results. Please stop labeling banana cakes as banana bread and trying to pass off cupcakes as muffins.

grant = to admit or concede
granite = a type of rock

Maybe my hearing is just going. Bah humbug

People who say "um" alllllll the time. Especially in a professional setting, like during an appointment. You're a professional...teach yourself how to overcome the "um." It doesn't sound professional and makes you sound unsure of yourself. I hear this word about a gajillion times a day. I'm over it.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

People that have a multitude of pet peeves and they expect others to respect those pet peeves. Yet, they are indifferent towards other's pet peeves,

People who tell me their dreams in excruciating detail and think I'm interested. Not!!! Go tell a shrink for chrissakes - you pay the shrink to listen to all that blah blah blah - (groan yawn).
