I've gotta remember to stay out of this thread until after it's aired on the west coast.
Not gonna be easy!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I voted last night and spread them out between Carson, J.R. and Chaz.

All of a sudden DH is a huge fan of Artest because he took the mic from Brooke! DH chanted "Run with it, run with eeeeet so she can't talk any more!!!" DH isn't crazy about Brooke and her hostess skillz at all.

Nah...the only time I ever voted on that show was for Apolo Anton Ohno, because I just love him and wanted to see him again the next week!

I saw that, too...I really liked how he talked about his younger siblings being so, "Oh, that's cool" when he told them he was going to officially become a man. I love how accepting the younger generation is...I hope it keeps improving until it really ISN'T a big deal.

Although, I can't watch DWTS on tv anymore, I like reading about it and watching clips online.
I didn't see all the dances. I prefer International Standard over American Smooth so I like a Viennese Waltz that is done mostly in hold and with lots of rotation. I liked Hope's and Chynna's waltzes although Hope was a bit stiff.
Poor Tony! Chynna looks so sweet, but is sooo dangerous!
Tristan is adorable. I really hope he stays. He seems quite patient. I just hope he isn't the new Jonathan Roberts (always getting older contestants).
I thought JR moved quite well. I usually don't let contestants' stories affect who I want to win, but in this case, I hope JR continues to improve because I'd like him to win.

Didn't they add another layer of seats? Then made the floor larger and more the shape of a typical ballroom? Those were the changes we thought were there - otherwise, different lighting a bit but we couldn't tell much else.
I already don't want most of the cast to go! Whether that's for the dancer or the star can vary though.

His sincerity and simplicity really impressed me. Such a great smile, too.
I'm going to start a Chaz thread, since I have more to say and don't want to hog.

You got it: a new, raised dance floor and a new, double layer balcony, which goes around three sides instead of new. I guess all the lights flashing are new, but I don't know if that would be obvious. Oh, and there is also a humongous new mirror ball hanging over the dance floor, which I'm pretty sure was mentioned last night. Looked to me to be 20 feet across. I thought it might drop down lower to the floor, but if it does, they didn't do that on Monday.
I think the right one went home last night, though I can't even think of his name right now. Although it looks like he may have turned out to be quite the character, right now, I'm more interested in other competitors.

I think everybody's great so far!
I feel sorry for Elisabetta! I think she just doesn't understand almost everything people are saying. (There's still no reason she belongs on this show, though!!!)
How come Rob Kardashian is billed as "Reality TV star" and Kristin is just "TV star"???
If I date Prince Harry for a while and get in the headlines, do I get to be on this show?

I thought the same thing!!! I am very short with very muscular legs, too, so I always notice when other girls have them. (Random, but I feel the same way about Melissa Joan Hart.)
And I can't say how much I love watching Derek dance! He's awesome. I remember the season he danced with Shannon Elizabeth thinking he seemed SO cocky and not liking him at all, but he's become very likeable to me over the years since then.

I think jr and karina, and ricki and derek are the best dancers. But I am impressed/entertained by chynna, david, carson and kristin. Whatever rob was doing I do not call dancing. I feel bad for chaz I know hes trying so hard, same for nancy.
