This weeks episode is soooo good. I watched it last night. Keep your tissues close. The last few minutes really got to me.

christina is a wonderful actress and i love her hubby!

jabar and the whole n word discussion. interesting. i do think jasmine is pulling the "because i'm black" card.

Alright,so I finally got caught up on my recorded episodes...oh my gosh this season is just so emotional... I can hardly stop myself from crying at the end of each show. Just when I wonder where they will take this family...they make a twist.

Seeing Max give a speech.

I can't believe they lied to their daughter...I guess they just wanted her to go back to school...

How far are they going to get with that lie really? From the previews it looks like she starts chemo next week.

They tried being honest with Hattie and she flew back from school to be with her family. It makes sense that they would lie since they want her to do well in school without having to think about her family issues. She was so quick to try to drop out of school, its for the best. She can't do anything about the cancer situation anyway.

- I hope they keep Ray Romano on the show. I doubt they will but Sarah is really into him and I want their relationship to go somewhere. He is a sad man on the show but they can be good together

I was wondering the same thing. Chemo would be next to impossible to hide if you have any relationship with the person at all.

They've already said that Ray Romano will be on the show for something like 12 or 13 episodes and it will get to the point where Sarah has to make a choice between him and Mark. It was a bit of foreshadowing when Camille let Mark be in the family picture. I guess I just don't like the triangle aspect of the whole thing.

It's not that I like her and Mark together. I don't particularly. The cheating thing is just annoying. I think I would have really liked Sarah and Hank together otherwise.

^^I don't like the cheating thing either and then the HUGE over-compensating by moving in with Mark sooner than expected and poor Drew he wasn't ready for that.

I'm glad Kristina and Adam lied to Hattie so that she goes back to school. She really needs to be in school as she can't help the cancer situation. I was very surprised at how big a help she was when she came home.

I'm very interested to see Amber and Ryan's relationship grow. He's a cutie.

well technically sarah isn't cheating. hank kissed her. she didn't kiss back. she didn't reveal it to mark but i'm not sure if she should. i think in a way she convinced mark that they could/should be more (last season). if she'd just let things play themselves out maybe he wouldn't have come around and proposed, then she could be with hank. he's a much better match. good lesson here.

agree, christina and adam needed to help hattie feel comfortable about going back to school. her whole life has been in the shadow of max and it would be in the shadow of christina's cancer. it's best for her to go to school and try to live her life. i am worried that the aggressive cancer might mean christina might die. a lady at my church, who was a nurse ironically, had this same kind of cancer. she died almost a year after diagnosis. totally sad and devastating. she left behind two teen daughters and her hubby of 17 or 18 years.

i really liked when jabari showed crosby how to pray. that was a sweet father son moment. i love how crosby is as a father. he's not perfect but he's got a wonderful heart!!

so....my dvr didn't record an episode tonight. did one come on? i looked that one isn't set to record next week presumably because of the election...

i love this show!!!

I admit I teared up. Christina's breast cancer hits close to home so it's real for me. I loved the scene where Camille gave Christina the chemo shirt.

I hope they don't make Ryan turn into a nut job.

yes the cancer coat scene was sweet. i hate that christina's mom wouldn't come to be there with her but that's so true of many mother / daughter relationships. many aren't loving and supportive.

drew and the girl. was he using his situation to get sympathy? the girl is a typical young girl. i wonder if teen pregnancy will pop up?

yes, i'm worried about ryan will snap. <bad with names> she's so sweet and after the politician i want her to be with someone good.

i'm so happy the little boy had a play date with his old neighborhood friend. and now mom is trying to learn spanish.

i can't wait for ray ramono again next week!
